My husband and I stayed here with our dog for one night after Christmas and we loved it from the second we arrived. The lobby was beautifully decorated for the holidays and smelled just wonderful from the crock pot of spiced cider brewing on a table. The gal who checked us in was very sweet and helpful, especially with recommendations for places nearby to shop and to eat. They offer a number of suites that are dog-friendly and the very reasonable pet fee includes a doggie bed, food and water bowls, and a basket with a towel, baggies, a Frisbee, and a tennis ball. Our Cassie felt so welcome and special!

Our suite (room 14) was very comfortable and nicely decorated with everything we needed. The bedroom is separate from the main room and is rather small but the bed is so comfy and we had a great sleep. The room includes a kitchen with a stove, microwave, sink, and mini fridge. It is well stocked with dishes, glasses, etc. The hotel has a very nice selection of dvd's and offers free microwave popcorn so we had a very relaxing movie night....just the three of us. Breakfast is left in a basket outside your door and you get a choice of cereals, muffins (the seasonal pumpkin-cream cheese muffin was yummy), bagels, juices, or milk. Nothing fancy but quite nice for a continental selection. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

My fiance and I cams in for a night after Christmas. This place was cute and well located. More importantly, the staffwas warm and helpful. We will definitely come back during the warmer season. There were nice amenities like a movie collection and popcorn.

We vistited The Bishop Victorian for the first time in August of this year. From the reservations to the check out the hospitality was superb! We had planned to bring our doggie but was able to leave him at home with a sitter. They had prepared a lovely doggie welcome basket with toys, treats, doggie bags and doggie bed. The room was lovely and spacious with a kitchenette. The bathroom was spotless. There are a lot of seagulls that frequent the roof of the Inn which is understandable to the region. The Inn even provides earplugs! They didnt bother us at all. The breakfast was continental but was substantial and brought to the room! Stay here when you visit the area next time!

Beautifully decorated hotel with lots of charm and character. Front desk staff are warm and hospitable. Complimentary coffee and tea service set up on each floor which is a nice touch. Our room #19 was a little on the small side for our family of 3 and the walls do allow for noise to travel a bit. But overall we would stay again for sure!

We've been staying here every year for about 5 years. We love the Victorian feel and the proximity to downtown and several of the better restaurants on the waterfront. The staff is always very, very helpful and cordial. The rooms are great with a good mixture of Victorian and modern. Good wi-fi.

Room Tip: The multi room suites are ideal for kids.
