Had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy. Eggs were very good, although clearly not organic. The gravy was about average, but not over-salted like some spots in town. And the biscuit was two squares of a pan baked biscuit - which is OK, but lacks the crust of a true biscuit. However, it seems every breakfast joint cooks "biscuits" this way. Service was cheerful and efficient, and the wait person seemed to know half the diners, which happily shows there's lots of repeat customers. I didn't try the coffee, but the web site mentions both expresso and drip are available. The cafe is a comfortable, well lit spot; and there's lots of parking. Recommended.

We had breakfast two days on a row it was so good. Things can get busy and hectic there but the food more than makes up for it. Staff is pleasant and helpful. The kitchen was accommodating with special requests. Everything we had was great. Food Quality was spectacular.

Thanks for the great meals!

4 of us had breakfast. Restaurant was half full. Orders took a long time in coming. The rib eye steak and eggs order had grisly inedible steak. The eggs Benedict had runny eggs and 1/2 of muffin was hard and burnt edges. The malt pancakes were delicious. We've had better dining experiences at the Cup and hope this was just one misstep. It will be awhile before we try again however. Why can't all our restaurants in PT be top notch - they should be!

The Cup is a super cute, small cafe. You seat yourself and the service was quick and friendly. The food was honestly really good. I ordered the breakfast burrito and my boyfriend ordered the biscuits and gravy. His meal was so good, I wish I’d gotten it. The gravy was delicious and it wasn’t to heavy like gravy sometimes can be. It was really flavorful and the biscuits were also really good. My breakfast burrito was really good too, but I am a huge fan of breakfast burritos in general. It had ham, potatoes, eggs and cheese in it. Both our meals came with a side of potatoes as well which were cooked perfectly. The menu consisted of a lot of scrambles and there were less choices for pancakes or waffles. The menu items ranged from about $11 and up.

Ate here a couple of times while visiting the area, both breakfast and dinner. Both were excellent and the service was very attentive. Definitely recommend.
