Very strange indeed. I am always questioning why this place is here but what the.....it is fun. I don't think one should make a special trip down here but if you are driving by then it will worth a stop.

We visited on 23-August-2017 and really enjoyed it - a very eclectic collection of more than 100 sculptures of all types. The grounds need maintenance but it's still quite enjoyable in its current state. I spoke with the contact on their web site, who explained that they recently got a permit (in June I think) obtained a permit to operate as a primitive park. We parked just before the entrance at a small parking area that serves the bike path (which goes right by the park - an option for getting there from Olympia). There was no one present at the time but you can walk around, view the sculptures, and leave a donation. One caveat - there was a big bull out and about on the grounds, which we fortunately saw from a distance near the butterfly topiary maze - watch out for that, I assume it had escaped from an adjoining pasture. After visiting the park we walked on the bike path for an hour or so, quite enjoyable. Hopefully this park will reach its full potential in the years to come. Enjoy!

Visited August,8th,2017. Really enjoyed the visit. There are a great number of pieces some really good. This place is definitely a sleeper and well worth the drive. 4 of us went and we were really impressed.

The area has suffered from a lack of maintenance but the art are excellent.

Would go for a return visit

We went out of our way to go to this park and we're excited to see some of the sculptures that were posted online. There was nothing on their website that made me think the place was closed.

We arrived and there was a handmade sign that looked like it had been printed awhile ago because it was faded and read CLOSED. Another hand printed sign read Temporarily closed to the public.

A beautiful place with outstanding
sculptures, wildflowers, trees and peacefulness. Follow the trail over a river and through a maze. The tour is self guided at your own pace. Signs provide information about each piece of art. It is located on the Chehalis bike trail for alternate transportation. I will bring a picnic next time.
