The two bedroom, two bath unit was very clean, had a washer and dryer that was great for a week stay. It had a patio and lovely green areas around it. Within walking distance were beaches on Lake Chelan, a restaurant, and views of hills and mountains. The place was advertised as having free wi-fi but we were never able to get it work even after help from the manager. We did encounter three wasps inside the living room toward the end of our stay. Getting a hair dryer into the unit was iffy. Fortunately, one became available. So, I would have preferred not to have spent the money for a personal hot spot and the extra data charges just to have internet connectivity. The location was very nice for day trips into the hills to walk around, up the lake and back on a boat, and had we been into it, lots of wineries.

Hearing how much you enjoyed the Wapato Point Resort experience was very rewarding for us!! Thank you for contributing to our efforts to continuously improve our property.I have placed an order for addition hairdryers for the front desk staff to keep on hand. Correct, unfurtunetly with our remote area and the outdated cabeling for our wireless internet we have issue with the wifi. Our associations are trying to work with a solution for this issue. Thank you for your patience.

I stayed for a week with a friend at the end of October. We had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit that had a washer in it, which was great along with the full kitchen. We took advantage some of the activities: rented a movie, used the indoor pool once, played (bad) tennis, did one of the craft activities, played mini-golf and did a lot of walking on the property. Restaurant on site was good. Great wineries in the area-some have tasting rooms in walking distance from the resort, others a short drive away. Lake Chelan winery with the option to get an awesome cheese plate and Karma , across the lake, with the sparkling wine tasting and cheese plate were our 2 favorite places. Unit was well-equipped for cooking, spacious, plenty of towels, beds comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "Tennis" area, which wasn't lake front, but we did have a view of the lake and it wasn't a far walk to get to the lake. Loved our time there!

We spent a week here, using the resort as a home base to explore the surrounding local area, and then take an overnight trip to Walla Walla. The unit itself is spacious - we had 2 couples in a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom unit. The kitchen/living area was open and spacious, with a balcony and electric grill which was great. Nice large picture windows with a great view, too. The units are nicely spaced out so you don't feel cramped. One feature we really enjoyed was the fireplace!! October was cool, with a bit of rain, but to have the fireplace in the evenings was the best! The place was pretty quiet - outdoor beach/pool areas closed, to be expected. There was an indoor pool but we did not use it. Enjoyed the walking area. Nearby hiking trails, wineries, and downtown Chelan and Mason all offer things to do. Would visit again!

I visited by myself with my two boys, who are 1 and 4. It was a safe, family friendly place to be. Early September was a great time to visit, not to crowded and great weather. My boys loved the pools and the great beach. Bring a wagon and something to carry your beach chairs and floaties to and from your room.

The location of this resort is wonderful. Many wineries and a casino close by. There are walking and running trails at the resort and the neighborhood on Wapato Point. Swimming beach and a place to rent water craft.
