We booked this at the last minute, refugees from Hurricane Irma. We joined friends in La Conner at the Wild Iris Inn for a quick getaway while we waited to return to Florida. We were given a warm welcome, which included these AMAZING COOKIES! You must try if you are a cookie fan. Our room, 210, was a fine room. If I had more time to choose, I'd probably pick a room with a bigger window but it was fine.
The linens and bed are amazing. I am also a bath products afficionado, and I loved their shampoos and lotion, it has a lovely light fragrance.
The breakfast was super: two courses, so don't fill up on the first round! A full buffet of choices, which included some homemade breads, juice, delicious coffee, cereals. Then an egg or french toast option. All were delicious, and the servers are very helpful and polite.
Lots of dinner options in LaConner. Our favorite was directly across the street: "COA", an authentic mexican food restaurant. Very casual, delicious and fresh. Not run of the mill. I highly recommend their enchiladas in a green sauce and their premium margaritas.
Thank you, Wild Iris Inn, for a wonderful stay!More
