“Love Carpinitos!”

Carpinitos Pumpkin Patch
Ranked #6 of 21 things to do in Kent

I have been shopping at Carpinitos for fresh produce for years, and have always loved their seasonal "specialties" (Pumpkins, gourds, fresh flowers, plants, Christmas trees and greens) - really miss them now that we have retired and moved from the area. We stop in every time we're back "home". We enjoyed our last visit and returned home with a large bag of fresh produce and a variety of this year's crop of apples.

We had so much fun visiting this pumpkin patch. We went on a Sunday afternoon and I thought it would be overcrowded. It was busy not overwhelming. Such a fun place to walk around and look for a pumpkin

Carpinitos has the usual sorts of things you’d expect: pumpkin patch, hay rides, corn maze, and even a petting zoo; but it is also a fully stocked farm produce stand where you can pick up fresh vegetables, kettle corn, and even corn stalks, fall flowers, and straw bales for your own fall decorating. Yes, there are restrooms on site (a must with little kids) of the port-a-potty variety, a refreshment stand and even an ATM. Wheelbarrows are available for use so you don’t have to worry about carrying big loads of pumpkins and produce to your car.

A couple of things to note:

• There is more than one Carpinito location in Kent, so if you’re coming from out of the area, but sure to program the pumpkin patch address in your GPS (although their main store is fun too!).
• October being October, it can get muddy and the ground can be uneven. They've done their best with gravel and beauty bark, but boots are still a good idea, as is appropriate rain gear.
• Pets are not permitted at this attraction. Plan to leave the dog at home this time.
• Finally, I’ve seen this attraction grow and evolve over the years. You may find that offerings are different than I’ve listed here in future years. You can always call or check out their website if you have specific concerns.

Large farmer's market. Fresh seasonal produce and staples. Great flowers, baskets and plants--again seasonal. Other prepared products for sale too. Reliable, consistent. Can get busy during the summer but plenty of parking.
