I've been to Colville twice in two years and stayed at the Selkirk Motel both times. If and when I return to Colville I will stay here again. The room is clean and the people are friendly. What more do you need if you are just looking for a place to sleep. Also it is in walking distance to a few good restaurants/bars.

A very basic room but the microwave and the 2 door dorm refrigerator made it worth the stay. It's a quaint little town and the motel was in a safe and quiet area about 5 minutes drive to a couple of markets.

This quirky little motel is just fantastic for a quick stop on the road. I stayed in a recently renovated room which was small but very clean, comfortable and well furnished. The hotel is located close to a nice little pub for an evening walk and a meal or a pint. Even though my room faced the main street in Colville, noise was not a problem. If you are looking for a pool, fancy lobby or attached restaurant look elsewhere. If you want great value in no frills accommodation I highly recommend the Selkirk.

Room Tip: My room was recently renovated. Can't speak to the quality of rooms that are not.

Just needed a place to stay for one night and was happy to find this motel was clean, pleasantly renovated, within walking distance to quaint shops and restaurants down main street and reasonably priced. Rooms are small but have everything you need for the night. Large t.v., extra pillows, small frig, coffee pot, microwave. Small pet fee, but nice to leave the dog in an air conditioned room while at dinner.

It was a lovely stay. Older place but renovated and very clean. A nice touch was the fireplace. We forgot our extention cord so they loaned us one. Quite inexpensive too. It was the the super friendly staff that made the difference for us.
