Like the casino hotel it's very clean, modern and lovely and may get a little bit less traffic since it's several blocks away. Shuttle to casino may be something some consider an inconvenience but since I'm a light drinker I just drove my own vehicle there and back so didn't matter to me. As should be the case with ALL hotels these days, it has a digital/hi-def TV.
Only negative was that the water pressure in the shower was simply too low. I understand the need to conserve, but people need a good flow as well. Please change your showerheads to allow for better water pressure!
I did not eat the AM continental breakfast but that's a bonus that the in casino hotel does not offer.

This is THE best place! Rooms are quiet! Free breakfast is typical. Front desk people wonderful. Rooms are nice and clean. View is wonderful. This place is SO much better than the Best Western I usually stay at when in the area (and $40 cheaper a night!!) that it makes BW look like the slums. Will ALWAYS stay here when I come back. Even staying here with a child worked fine when we went to the casino restaurant as a guard escorted us through the casino. Free shuttle from the Lodge to the Casino.

Room Tip: go for a top floor, either side great views

We've been staying at the Skagit (main hotel) for years but because of a special deal they offered for June, we booked into the Skagit Ridge. This is their annex hotel just across the street from the resort. It is newer than the main hotel and a lot quieter for guests because you don't hear the noise from the parking lot or highway. The rooms are identical to those in the resort (if maybe even a little more spacious) and you get the added bonus of a kitchen sink and microwave. Plus the TV is mounted to the wall so the top of the TV credenza is available to store more of your personal items.
We were able to get Wi-Fi in the room and didn't have to sit in the lobby like at the main hotel.

The complimentary breakfast buffet is nothing spectacular but certainly enough to satisfy with a selection of cold cereals, breads for toast, fruit, yogurt and even a couple of waffle makers. It's included in the price of the room so really a good deal. Plus if you are there in the summer, you can go outside on their patio and enjoy the view.

The shuttle bus will bring you back and forth to the casino and you don't have to wait long as it is never busy. Drivers are friendly and they don't expect a tip...unless you are a big winner.

There is no added fee to use the gym/pool facilities at the main hotel and the room rates are the same at both. Staff is very friendly and always ready to help with any questions or enquiries. Parking is easy and the lot well lighted at night.

The price was right for us canadians and the dollar exchange. The hotel was kept very clean, has a continental breakfast which was sufficient, the staff was very friendly, shuttle service provided to take you across the street to the casino,.The place was very quiet. It has a small fridge in your room and a microwave and a coffee pot with coffee and the fixings. The 2 sinks were handy as well. we will definitely be staying there again.

Room Tip: We were in room 242 and it backed on to a grassy field so was very quiet.

This is not the hotel directly attached to Skagit Casino but across the road. Got a great deal sent to us. Room clean and fairly comfy. Lots of pillows but the bed was too hard for my liking.Had trouble with the sound on the TV. Room had a microwave and a mini fridge, which is nice. Hotel also has a free continental breakfast and you can even make waffles....but the coffee was weak:and it was hard to cut anything with plastic utensils.( Hotel also has a free shuttle to and from the casino. Hotel was quiet and had a lovely view. The staff was professional and friendly.
