Stayed there 9/5-6. The house is on the Duke of Gloucester street in the middle of Colonial Williamsburg. Four bedroom/4 bath. Easy checkin and check out with parking behind the house. Rooms were clean and well furnished although there was a fireplace "smell" in all bedrooms. The location is great and convenient to everything in the historic area. Outstanding breakfast at the Williamsburg Inn. Garden in the back of the house that you would not know was there unless you stayed at the house. Note that given the location there is no wi-fi.
One issue. Before 9:00 AM on the 6th and while my wife was dressing two employees entered the house and started walking around. One said they were showing the house to another," knocked" and entered although you could see the house was occupied. When challenged they left but did not re-lock the door. Raised this with the Inn and in their survey but there was no follow up.
Just a little unnerving. Guess I should have put chairs against the doors.More
