The New York Deli is a couple of miles outside of town. It is a relaxing and great place to eat. We've had a number of items on their menu from pizza to warm subs to salads to cheesecake. Everyone of the items has never disappointed us. The food is fresh and very tasty. No tips are necessary here although they would be appreciated, I am sure. One minor wrinkle is that they charge for another portion of salad dressing for a large salad. They give you one small cup of dressing with each salad. This seems very shortsighted because the salads are big and one small portion of dressing is quickly used up. In our case, my wife and I were sharing a cobb salad before our regular meal arrived. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough dressing to use for both of us. Given the price of the salad, this was an unecessary problem created for us by the restaurant. We were told that we would need to purchase more dressing. This was totally unnecessary. Add 50 cents o the price of the sald if this is an issue for the resturant management. Nickle and diming customers is not the way to run a business. Overall, however, this restuarant is a good experience and a great place to spend some time. .
