We arrived about an hour after their opening time and the ticket line wasn't bad at all. However, when we left at about 230, the line was backed up all the way down the walkway, so it would probably be better to arrive in the morning rather than the afternoon.
The aquarium itself is nice, the lay out is decent. There is an outdoor walkway where you can see the waterway and take a path to the otter area. To get there, you walk under a big adventure tree climbing area, that you can purchase separately and do. The otter area was cute. The main part of the aquarium was clean, with plenty of restrooms, a snack area and eatery(which we didn't eat at, so can't comment on ) and a nice gift store. Glad we tried this place out as it was on our to-do list for a long while.

We enjoyed a day at the aquarium during our vacation here in VB. What a great educational experience. Initially, I thought the price for admission was a little much, but we appreciated the experience as we walked through the exhibits. The bigger kids really enjoyed the touch stations with the rays. Our toddler children appreciated the individual 8x11 pics of the various creatures provided at certain exhibits which the kids were able to hold as they matched the pic to the creatures in the aquarium. The pics led to a great interactive scavenger hunt experience which was a big hit for sure. We also enjoyed the nature trail which connected the main building to another smaller building which showcased the otters. Overall, a great option for school-aged kids to keep their brains growing even on spring break!!

I had no idea! This place is amazing.
So much sea life to view and enjoy. If you are on the fence about gong I would highly recommend it. If you ever get the private tour.... take it!

We went to the aquarium and had a great time. We saw a lot of animals and were able to touch the sting rays!! The next day we went on the boat for Dolphin discoveries and it was the best experience I have had!! The staff were friendly and we got to see so many dolphins I lost count. Afterwards, a member came around with a whale tooth and jaw from a dolphin and provided information to the kids about these animals!!
