We arrived at 10:59, and they opened the door at 11:00. We had our choice of seat and started outside. What a breathtaking view. Because of rain, we had to move inside. We enjoyed the crab balls - do yourself a favor and try these. We then ordered flounder tacos and the flounder basket. Both were tasty, and we had plenty left to take home. The service was incredible. We could see how on a summer evening, this place would be so awesome and lively. If we are ever back in the area, we will come here again and try the menu items we were curious about, like the oysters and crab dip. There is not a bad seat inside or outside. Overall a great experience.

Fish and Slips is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is excellent. They have a wide range of food on the menu such as seafood, meatloaf, quesadillas, tacos, rib-eye, prime rib, and lots of fried seafood baskets. The view is amazing.!!

Nice casual place on the marina, reasonable prices with indoor and outdoor seating. The crab balls are lightly fried, very little if any filler and no real breading, wish I got 2 baskets instead of one. Tuna bites were good also, Oyster Po'Boy was huge with perfectly cooked oysters. Went for lunch so mostly locals and people docked at the Marina but looks like it would be fun at night.

First of all I'm going to start off this review letting you know that I am a P Town local. But after this place opened last summer and went through its growing pains, it is one of the top places to eat in Olde Town Portsmouth. The views on the water are ridiculous, the food is always amazing, the waitstaff is always on point, and the owner (Daris) is an awesome guy. Fresh local seafood, daily specials for happy hour and all day Sunday specials for happy hour. And Jenny behind the bar will take the best care of you.

The location is great with great views of downtown Portsmouth across the river. It is in a marina and is easily accessible from a free parking lot. However, on the night of our visit, service was very slow, even though it was not crowded. The bar did not have the advertised draft beer, nor one of the bottled beers we ordered. The hush puppies were terribly over cooked with a hard exterior as if they had been in the same deep fat fryer oil that had been used all day. The shrimp and fried oysters were fine, but not exceptional. Overall, disappointing, but happy hour prices were good.
