The waters are beautiful, the view from this restaurant is astounding. The food was good and the drinks were great.

If you have control over your schedule, don’t rush this stop. This one is to be enjoyed at a very leisurely pace. If you are a police officer, bring a patch with you, and they’ll staple it on the rafters with hundreds of others. Thank you for your service.

Rolling up to Soggy Dollar, on White Bay, felt like the opening scene in "Team America: World Police".

A week in to our magical BVI trip filled with charming locals and visitors, surfing, food, etc... we boated up to The Soggy Dollar. It was recommended as this is the birth of the "Painkiller" rum drinks, which are indeed awesome. The scene is similar to a Margaritaville or Cheesecake Factory bar, but on the beach and tourists are getting hammered. Good food & drinks, epic gorgeoous beach, douchey tourist scene.

This is a perfect stop while exploring the BVI. There are only two ways to get there; by dinghy or by swimming. This is more of a drinking spot than an eating spot, but so beautiful that you will fall in love with the warm white sand. Fantastic!

This is where everyone goes and yes, it is a bit touristy which is complete expected. Get a painkiller or a few of them. Grab a lobster roll and a t-shirt. You are here to make memories and you might need a physical reminder after a few painkillers.
The food is made to order so it is a bit slow but so is life around here. They are glad to have you especially after the hurricane devastation. The staff is friendly and the food is good. The cost is probably more than the drinks on your boat or other bars. I will admit that this place is more than a restaurant but more like a destination instead. having said that, there are other bars around SDB. A couple of bars down is Seddy's bar with super cheap beer and magic tricks. He is a flirt and will sing along to a song now and then. If you want Michelin restaurants then go some place else. If you want a conch fritter or lobster sandwich with a painkiller or any other great drink, stop by the Soggy Dollar Bar and wave at the online camera. Oh and bring a sign for the peeps at home, we did. If you feel like it is a tourist trap, try another bar or another bay. In my opinion, this is a must do bay in the BVI sailing trails and I'll be back for a painkiller at Soggy and a magic trick at Seddy's. See you next time.
