We had the Elizabethan room. It was large, comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had the most beautiful view from the bay window overlooking the ocean!
The breakfast was incredible: fruit juice, fruit salad, pancakes with sausage or bacon... or eggs, muffins.... We did not leave hungry! We had picked some blueberries while on our hike and John used them for our pancakes. Next time we come we need some of those incredible scones we keep reading about.
Our hosts John and Addie felt like long lost friends!! We missed you the moment we left!
We would highly recommend this B & B!

Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. We had the most beautiful view from the bay window, and enjoyed sitting there in the evening.
We were able to have coffee early before the delicious, freshly prepared breakfast: fruit juice, fruit salad, pancakes with sausage or bacon... and those home made scones! The dining room is attractive, too, with a table for each room. We did not leave hungry! Just as well, as we spent all day hillwalking to see the fabulous views from the various trails in the area.
Our hosts were very friendly and helped us to make the most of this very picturesque little town and the surrounding area.
We would highly recommend this B & B!

John and Addie are wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home. The Captain's Legacy was clean, Quaint and located right on the water. We will be going back again and it WILL feel like we are coming home.

We spent four marvelous days at the Captain's Legacy. Addie and John were wonderful hosts and provided us with a wealth of information about restaurants, hikes, and activities. Their breakfasts were to die for. Rooms are small but well furnished with comfortable beds and great showers. We felt completely at home there and will stay there again on our next visit to Twillingate.
