We stayed here for 1 night for an event at Capesthorne Hall (less than a 15min straight forward drive there). Quite a small Premier Inn which was nice. Good sized car park. Quiet location. Close to the little town for meals out. Very close to Manchester Airport but far enough away that we didn't actually hear any planes. No problem with noise at all for us, we were on the top floor but were near the entrance door to the floor. The best bathroom I have ever seen in a Premier Inn, huge shower tray which was very modern (not sure when these were renovated). Bed was very comfy

After reading reviews from back in Feb 2020 regarding the restaurant next door being refurbished I had wondered if it would be finished or still ongoing - I can confirm the building works are still ongoing. We arrived at 5pm and left at 8am the next day so it didn't affect our stay but just for people to bare that in mind

COVID19 measures did not affect our stay at all. Face masks are required in public areas of the hotel and there is sanitiser available. Staff won't enter your room, but you can request new linen, towels, pillows (they have taken all spares out the room). This was fine, our spare pillows (we like to sleep with 2 each) were left in a bag outside after we requested them from reception. They provide a telephone number to reception in the room (there is however no phone in the room so you just use your own to phone)

We stayed for 2 nights at this Premier Inn. Work is being carried out at the adjoining restaurant so food was not available, however staff asked if we would like to order takeaways. We were visiting friends so this was not a problem for us. The Covid-19 measures in place were very good, and everything was clearly explained to us. The room we had was at the rear, was clean and comfortable. The location is very convenient for Manchester Airport and the surrounding area.
We would have given 5 stars but the fact that smoking was done so close to the entrance was a real negative. In what should be a covered walkway people were just stood smoking and did not appear to care that people needed to walk past them. Smoking should only be permitted at a distance from the hotel, well away from the entrance.

Room was plenty big enough for us, clean, bathrooms was one of the best premier inn bathrooms we’ve used, bed comfy. We stayed here night before flying away to New York. The pub attached to the hotel was being refurbed however there is a really nice vintage inns called honeybee down road not a long walk about 15 mins ... also we were allowed to keep car here for duration of our holiday for a ten pound donation to the hotels charity which is absolutely perfect ... taxi 14 pound using the app to the airport ...
