This is lovely little town. Stroll down the walkway and go back in time. Enjoy shopping, eating and the scenery.

We went to Occoquan Inn for an early dinner on a Sunday. Not crowded at all. The host asked if we wanted to sit outside but it was a bit cold. I checked out the outdoor patio. It has a nice view of the Occoquan River. The menu is basic. However, they has a peanut soup and I had never heard of such a thing. I ordered it, it was very tasty (if you like peanuts). We also ordered the wings and the crab cake sandwich. Both were ok. The wings were lightly seasons and had good flavor. They offer a few bottle beers. The staff was very nice. The deco could use a little facelift.

The Sunday brunch is so popular you usually need a reservation. The menu has changed since my last visit, but the omelet bar continues to be a favorite. The bacon allows for crispy as well as non-crispy choices. The home fries are perfectly seasoned and cooked so they're not too soft. I didn't try the french toast, but it looked great. There is a platter of fresh fruit, if you prefer that to syrup. The biscuits were tender and high, although not hot. The roast turkey, with dressing, and the meatloaf, both with gravy were wonderful. There was also pasta and roasted vegetables. The fruit platter also had an assortment of bite sized brownies (great idea) and cake. We didn't order alcoholic drinks, but the coffee was good. Service was great and when the restaurant is busy, it's so small the wait staff is always close. :) For those with a handicap, the restrooms require navigating steps.

Took 8-10 minutes to be seated (Not Full)
Red table cloth had stains all over it.
Drinks limited to low quality mimosas/cheap mix bloody Mary's.
6 of the 8 plates on the tiny buffet were dirty.
Omelette station limited and is using Easy eggs.
Canadian bacon and sausage were good.
Bacon was cheap and over cooked.
Fish(Hybrid Bass) Farm raised and mush in a cream sauce.
Chicken (similar cream sauce but edible)
Pot roast (labeled Chicken Marsala) tough and disappointing.
Frozen veggies were actually the best tasting item. Well seasoned!
Didn't try the biscuits and gravy (looked average at best)
Our drinks were never refilled either.
$12.99 a person
I know it's cheap, but I leave feeling that I would of rather eaten at McDonalds.
This is a low quality money grab. No real chef would allow this food. Look somewhere else! Standards are seriously lacking. Very disappointing!!!!! The owner needs to take a hard look in the mirror and rethink this concept because it's location could allow them to make this great. Please do a deep clean!!!!

My husband and I had lunch here during the Occoquan Festival. The food was good, prices were reasonable and the service was great.
