This hotel has truly a great outdoor area with 2 playgronds for kids, an outdoor swimming pool and nice big pond with fountaine.
But the rooms and several area’s of the buildings are in need of paintjobs etc. The curtain in our suite had even a hole.

We booked and payed in advance, even had contact by phone to check if the suite indeed was big enough voor a family of 5 and recieved a mail from Fletcher everything to be in order.

But on arrival we had to pay almost double the amount already payed, the room was layed out for only 2 and basically all was the fault of other agencies. After a lengthy discussion we agreed on paying double but including breakfast etc. As a curtesy we received welcome drinks on the house.

The lock on the door failed and it took 2 times before the door was opened by staff. After reprogramming the lock, all worked fine again. As a second curtesy we again received drinks on the house. Also he organised three beds to be made in the suite.

Beds were fine, pool outside was nice, indoor too but a bit outdated. Didn’t try the gym but that looked fine too. Breakfast was good.

On checkout the lady at the desk wanted another 100 euro’s plus.... We were in luck that one of the interns around was involved in the discussion the day before so it was corrected rather quickly.

In all: ongoing miscommunication in a hotel in need of maintenance but with a great outdoors area.

Beautiful surroundings, nice lobby and restaurant area (especially the terrace).
Very friendly staff - especially the cleaning ladies Natalie and Doortje, who were extremely helpful as we were dealing with our 2 year old son who got sick the first night (washing our clothes, providing extra sheets, towels). Rooms are very outdated. During our stay it was over 27 degrees outside, and even warmer in the rooms as there was no air conditioning or a mosquito screen, that would enable you to have some fresh air in the room at night. The pool is poorly maintained, dirty water (and a lot of sand on the bottom of the pool) and half of the pool being used for swimming lessons during the weekend.
It is a beautiful location and the hotel has great potential but needs to be updated.

We travelled from the UK to meet up with friends from Germany to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Although the staff were all friendly and helpful we were very disappointed to find that we could not check in until 1500 hrs, and there was no flexibility over this.
The hotel is located in a lovely area, with wonderful grounds and a lake. Parking was right next to the hotel.
Rooms were booked on the ground floor with a terrace. They were large, comfortable, well prepared and cleaned. Toiletries were limited to a shower/hair gel. No bathrobes were provided which was a shame as we used the excellent pool every day and this would have saved having to get changed at the pool.
Breakfast was wonderful and there were hot and cold choices to suit any guest. Meals were served in the lounge and bar, and in the restaurant, which despite some partitioning off was a little noisy. In the good weather that we were lucky to have meals and drinks were also served on the terrace with good views of the garden. Food choices for the evening meal gave a meat, a fish, a vegetarian and one or two other choice, with several really nice starters and desserts. Service was friendly and the staff were knowledgeable about the items served.
For the more active the pool, tennis courts and cycles to hire were available. Cycle tracks locally were excellent. Facilities for children seemed very good.
The area is beautiful with many things and places to visit although parking in the towns could be a little difficult.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel have the best views over the garden.

Several boxes were ticked with this choice of hotel. It wasn't far from the motorway for our road trip to Germany, it had an indoor pool (albeit a bit cold) and was competitively priced. The reception area was quite impressive too.

The room we were given was massive! An added bonus was hearing an owl "twit-twoo" outside whilst we bedded down for the night. We would have liked to sit down and have a cheeky drink looking into the deep, dark woods, but unfortunately it rained the very second I opened the patio doors.

There's a Lidl and a Jumbo about 5 minutes away. The Wi-Fi was very good from my experience. Around 18MB speed, which is better than I get at home! Friendly staff too.

Room decor was good, but that's not high up on my priorities to be honest when looking for a hotel.

Hotel has an impressive lobby, however the rooms are quite dated with furniture in bad need of replacement. Food was ok.
You do get what you pay for so I guess this is a reasonable choice if on a budget.
