We arrived back yesterday 05th September.
The hotel is well located for the clean beach and clear water (the beach is cleaned at night). There were bars and shops located around the hotel. We didn't as some people have suggested have any issues with noise at night.
The pool area was clean and the pool was also clean, there was the issue with the sunbeds but I have never been anywhere in recent memory where people do not place towels over the beds at breakfast and then wander off for 2-4 hours, its now the norm, the hotels could stop it but don’t as it would offend the people who do this.
Food & Drink
We were on the all-inclusive package booked thru Thomas Cook on a late booking about two weeks ago, I found the food to be a bit varied not really Spanish-English-German, there was always Paella and a mixture of fish and meat based meals available at Lunch and Dinner, the kids section (only available at Dinner) was ok Pasta, Pizza etc. The food was always fresh and plentiful right up until closure so if you arrived late you weren't scratching about. The breakfast was again good and the only thing I would have liked to have seen improved was the sausages which looked like the tinned type. The wine was ok and tasted like it would have been a 3 for £10 at Asda, the beer was Cruzcampo 4.8% and not watered down, local spirits (not branded), soft drinks were Coke & Fanta, and fruit juice was Orange etc.
The team of 4 entertainers were fantastic and worked very hard from the kids club at 1100 right thru to 2330 at night, there were some tribute acts there as well during our week, Tom Jones (fantastic act), Amy Winehouse (good act but I don't like her music) & the Bee Gees (performed by three Dutch chaps, I think, they were being harassed by a English groupie staying at the hotel who thought she could get up at sing with them !)
We stayed in a 5 person self catering apartment on the 2nd floor (247) which was very clean and cleaned everyday etc Mon & Thurs, we had a very large balcony also and the A/C worked fine. The towels were changed when the room was cleaned. If I was Self Catering I would find the kitchen a challenge but then if you want to cook on holiday you wouldn't expect your fully fitted kitchen that you use at home to be waiting for you, it’s pretty cheap to eat out €3 for an English breakfast etc.
The hotel could do with a paint on the outside and maybe tarted up a little but other than that I had a great time and would consider coming back again. The staff were all very friendly. The best bit was the entertainers and the worst bit the bar closing at 2359 !
