Before we left for our holiday, I did my rounds here on tripadvisor to see which restaurants topped the lists. Was somewhat surprised (perhaps not in retrospect, considering the number of Englishmen here) to find an Indian i.e. Nepali restaurant ranking at second.

Being that I really enjoy currys and so do the missus and kiddo, we came here for dinner.

The restaurant, visually, in it self is not much to speak off and after my disaster at Star of India in Lanzarota I might not have gone in if it had not been for tripadvisor. But I'm sure glad I did.

We had some poppadums before gorging on chicken tikka masala and rogan josh with rice, plain and pashawri naan, all of which was very good. Kiddo really enjoyed the meal, always a quality sign when he eats anything.

Service is quick and efficient. I'd come back for sure.

After suffering the terrible half board hotel food, and not seeming to find anything tasty in surrounding restaurants, we thought on the penultimate night of our holiday that we can't go wrong with a good curry.
After reading brilliant reviews on trip advisor and seeing that it was the number 2 restaurant in alcudia we imagined that we would finally get some decent food.
Once we were given our menus we had a pretty long wait for our orders to be taken and it was early evening and not too busy, we then ordered 4 pappadoms (they bought 2) but we had waited ages and it wasn't easy to get the waiters attention so we just thought we wouldnt say anything. The usual dipping sauces were a bit odd, one which tasted like it had a base of cheap ketchup and instead of the usual raita there was sour cream. And there was only about a tablespoon's worth of each.

I ordered chicken tikka masala to which it came and it didn't seem to have any cream in and was extremely salty. My parter ordered a chicken biriani to which they forgot to bring the sauce he had to ask them for it which came ten mins later. He said it was aerate-nothing special. Portions weren't massive but were adequate.
They also tried to charge us for the extra pappadoms that they forgot to bring and at over 40 euros for 2 meals and 2 sides, pappadoms and 2 soft drinks it's really not the best value!

I don't understand where the rave reviews come from for this food and service as it was average at best, very disappointing as we were really looking forward to eating here!

Saw this restaurant as we were driving into Alcudia to start our holiday. It wasn't there last year so must be relatively new. Went there that night and the food was so good that we ended up eating there 3 times in 7 nights. The food is such good quality, very tasty, the best Indian food we have had in all the years we have been going to Alcudia. It is better than a lot of the Indian restaurants we have been to in the UK! The staff are generally quite young and are very enthusiastic and friendly providing a great service. Pleased to say they have imported bottled Cobra beer. See you next year.

We visited Kathmandu for an evening meal (family of 4) on the 3rd night of our holiday in Alcudia. The food was excellent and delicious and the service very quick too. We loved the iced cold pints served in glasses straight from the fridge. It's our last night here Saturday July 15th and we going back again for another as it was so nice. Well worth a visit if you love Indian food.
