Excellent hotel in an elevated position with super views of the sea and coastline. The nearest shops are a 5minute shuttlebus ride away, there are no shops at the hotel.
The buffet style meals are very good, evening meal menu changed every night so there was plenty of choice and variety. Breakfast was the same. Staff very helpful and attentive. There is also an a la carte restaurant on site, again excellent food and staff. The room was superb with a large balcony and sea view, towels changed daily. This is a large complex of hotel rooms, flats, and bungalows, with two swimming pools each with their own bar for drinks and lunch. There is also a spa on site. We had a very relaxed holiday here.

Room Tip: Because of the location it's worth checking where the room is on the site and how accessible it is.

Hi Sue D,
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing such lovely feedback about our hotel. We are pleased to hear that you have had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday with us and we appreciate you publishing this. Basically, our location on a hill means that the views are magnificent, and we see that this aspect has been wonderful for you. At the same time, you have also enjoyed the food and the service in particular. Thanks again for your visit and we bid farewell with our best regards from Paguera.

The hotel is very big and a bit cold and heartless. When we landed at the airport we did not realise that there were no buses to the hotel so we had to catch a taxi at a cost of 50 euros which was not a good start. So my advice would be make sure you have transfers included or you can book transfers separately. The hotel itself is perched on a hill about 25 minutes walk to Paguera the nearest town. The hotel lay on a mini bus to take you there and back but be warned it is only an 8 seater that services over 250 rooms. They only lay on five a day, 10am, 11am, 12am, 2pm and 5pm. At the time we were there it had to go up and down two or three times every trip. You can walk to Paguera which takes about 25 minutes but coming back is a steep hill so make sure you have water and strong legs. We asked at reception why such a small bus for so many people and he just laughed and said many people ask the same question, so no joy there. We think it might have something to do with the taxi drivers who want your business and at 5 euros each way it is a nice little earner. The room was very nice with a balcony and sea views but above the place where guests have a drink after their evening meal. But once again be warned that if you fancy an early night then forget it as every evening they have second rate singers who are very loud but do finish at 10.30 pm. The room had a safe and kettle but that is it. No tea or coffee which you have to supply yourself. We did get a pot of fresh milk from the bar every day so we could have our English tea just right. There is a fridge so we kept the milk nice and cold. All the meals are buffet style and not too bad but we found that it was a free for all when going to get your food with long queues sometimes. The hotel is German owned so the majority of guests are Germans. For some reason queuing is not in their blood so my wife got fed up being pushed about. There is a nice bottle of house red that is only about 14 euros, bargain! A suggestion if you are on a tight budget would be make some rolls up at breakfast and make nice picnic on the beach, a bit tight but just a thought. Once into the town it is quite nice with loads of quite posh shops so don’t expect many bargains. If you want to venture further afield then the best way is to catch the buses which run fairly regularly. The bet one to catch to Parma and Port Andratx the other way is the 102. There is also a 104 but that takes forever as it stops at every town and village on the way. Parma is a great place to wander around shopping and one thing we did was visit the palace with headphones and an I-pad telling us all about the place, fascinating. Andratx is a lovely place to visit but not for beaches. Cala Fornells is a short walk, but hilly so take walking shoes, it has a lovely hotel with a balcony to have a nice coffee and a snack to get your energy back ready for the trip back. You can take your beach stuff but it is very small and very rocky so we thought it was a bit of a no no. The staff at the hotel were OK but not the friendliest in the world, maybe it was catching off the sullen Germans. The cleaners were great, very friendly and very helpful. The grounds and pool are very impressive. It has two nice pools and not a bad gym. Our room number was 315 and very spacious and comfortable. The last warning is that there is a tourist tax of 3.5 euros per night per person so we had to pay about 46 euros on top of our bill. There is also a tax on drinks. Also the drinks are ridiculously expensive in the hotel so factor that in as well. But overall it was a nice relaxing one week holiday, two would have been too much.

Room Tip: We had 315 with a nice sized balcony and a lovely view. There are bungalows and rooms that looked closed in with no views so be careful.

My husband and I booked with Secret Escapes for a five day/four night stay in a Double Comfort room. We missed out on the sea view rooms, which had all been booked for the time we wanted 26-30 June, 2018, but the price was so amazing we didn't mind too much. We couldn't believe how simple it was just using passports at the check-in, with no advanced passenger information required. We even got aisle seats (which we prefer) at the exit doors - so loads of room. The transfer company Smaytrip was fantastically well-organised and we were delivered to the most breath-taking landscaped grounds and spectacular sea views a few hours after take off. Reception staff varied in hospitality but we were lucky. We had been allocated an apart-suite five minutes away from the main building. This had a modern lounge and balcony, large well- equipped bedroom and large five piece bathroom. It was immaculate, well furnished, comfortable and with partial views of the sea! The bed was huge, with separate duvets - good at 30c+ and the toiletries smelt lovely. Breakfast was superb with Buck's Fizz, freshly made to order pancakes and Spanish omelettes plus every other thing you could think of. Evening dinner in the Mediteranneo Restaurant was decidedly average but they were catering for 60% German, 25% Spanish and only 15% English so they had a hard task. The a la Carte restaurant was an option, with 25% off vouchers. The lounges, bars, and seating areas were creatively designed and every type of sunbed and lounger was available. The Spa, Gym and Tennis courts ensured you could be as active as you wish and 6 shuttle bus services were provided daily to Pequera, from which you could travel to delightful Andratx, Palma or beyond. It was fabulous. I cannot recommend it highly enough but for one small niggle. We were never shown a bar menu (only an evening Wine List) so had no idea at all how much we were paying for drinks. Each evening a different guest act entertained in the garden but there were plenty of seating areas/bars to use if this was not to your liking. You'd be really missing out not to give this a go. Children welcome and everyone made to feel valued.

Room Tip: Try to get a sea view room, the views everywhere are breath-taking.

Had a great time at this hotel with a friend last week. It’s so well kept- the gardens and views are stunning and it’s very clean too. It’s in a very small place called Peguera which reminds me of an old fashioned seaside resort. The only thing I would say is there was too much fish on the menu (we were half board) for my taste but then again that’s just my view. Highly recommend for a short break but probably not the best hotel for young children.

Visited last month with my sister for a long weekend.
Standards as high as last year. As we arrived late and missed dinner we were given a substantial salad, lovely bread and fruit accompanied by a HALF glass of cava.
our room was comfortable spacious and had a huge bathroom.
our stay was very enjoyable, good meals and sunshine. Comfortable sunbeds with no need to reserve as plentiful.
Avoid the white house wine at dinner- its bitter and not pleasant.
Entertainment on the terrace was ok- not great but helped by the large measures of gin provided. We only needed one drink!!
Staff are friendly and helpful. All speak English well.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a quiet break. Get a private transfer though. Its worth it and saves 90 minutes at least on a coach. will certainly return.

Room Tip: Comfort rooms are excellent.
