Lovely villa but with a few minor irritants!
Easy to check in and find keys - we were in the pool by 2 o'clock!
Villa is not as shown on the photographs - the 3 large trees at the back of the pool are no longer there which makes the pool area very hot with no shade - there was a parasol stand but no parasol so we bought one and left it there for the next people.
The supermarket is a 5 minute drive away - large and clean with a good stock of fresh fish and meat. Parking outside the villa was reasonably easy. There is a bus stop within a 5 minute walk with regular buses to other towns and a small train which runs round the marina.
On our first shop we had to buy several essentials - toilet rolls, washing up liquid, dish cloths!! There was nothing to clean the bbq out with and no bleach etc for the toilets.
We were left clean towels on the first Wednesday - the lady just put them on the lounge table and didn't collect all the dirty ones, just some of them! We had clean bed linen on the first friday and clean towels again mid week on the second week. There was no cleaning done of the bathrooms or kitchen while we were there - considering there is no cleaning materials left I would have expected the villa to have been cleaned at least once.
The beds were uncomfortable - the mattresses were hard - the only nice ones were in the twin room with the safe in.
The cot and highchair we asked for were of good quality and the highchair was easy to clean!
The maintenance man came about 6 times to check the pool and we swept the leaves and bugs out ourselves every day.
Overall a good holiday but perhaps some thought could go into leaving basic cleaning materials for the occupants?
