Sunday afternoon late happy hour with three dollar champagne. A great vegan curry and fantastic nightly specials. Great old Abbey converted into a restaurant. Comfortable and homey with tons of atmosphere and solid fare Right on the cobblestones in Historic Freemason.

We heard about this place and read all of its reviews , so we had to try it. I am so glad we did . The church is gorgeous inside , staff is warm and welcoming and the food is outstanding . The Green Fried tomatoes are a must try and the She Crab Soup ! They treated us extra special since it was our anniversary . They even put a " Happy Anniversary " sign on our table. We ant wait to go back .

Tip: make a reservation on their website or call !

Venerable former church sanctuary serving delicious food with excellent service at reasonable prices in a quaint Ghent neighborhood.
Largely Continental fare with additional delightful nightly specialities. A great wine list, lovely drinks and convivial atmosphere make for a pleasant dining atmosphere for discerning adults.
Cheers!

Located in Norfolk, a few blocks from downtown and from Nautilus. This is an impressive restaurant with great food and an interesting ambiance. Great for solo, friends or small groups, it is fun to sit and look around. Not priced too high, you get your monies worth. Light or full meals, sandwiches or desserts. A great place to eat.

I eat at Freemason Abbey fairly frequently and have never had a bad meal there. The she crab soup is wonderful and the Salmon Oscar at lunch is delicious. The servers are always friendly and well informed. Go upstairs if you can, it's nice to look out over the balcony at this historic building.
