The view from the terrace is stunning and the food was wonderful. This was our favourite meal from our fortnight stay on the Amalfi Coast.

the dining room is beautiful with amazing views. The dinner that we had was superb and the breakfast buffet had everything. It was very good value and the service was second to none.
One day we hope to return....amazing

I didn't experience anything that I disliked. The location is fine for visiting most archaeological sites as well as the coast. It is very comfortable, with a lovely pool and other facilities..

If you are stuck out in Corpo di Cava without a car, getting a meal, much less a decent one, is a challenge (see review of Sisifo for one to avoid). This white tablecloth hotel restaurant was a pleasant surprise, nearly full and bustling the night we went, mostly with a group of jolly German tourists. It might be more moribund if the hotel was less full. Ambitious menu, mostly successfully executed. Clever roast peppers wrapped in cabbage with just enough cheesy sauce on the side, and a straight forward fresh asparagus soup to start; a really nicely seasoned sea bass and artichoke dish and veal involtini with favas to follow. Desserts less memorable. Good service, English patiently spoken by waitstaff. Fairly priced; 55€ before wine. Nice list, we splurged on a good 40€ Taurasi, but plenty of smart choices in the 18€ range.

We stayed at the Hotel Scapolatiello for a night in October 2013. It was our first of five hotels we stayed at in the Amalfi and while all were good, this hotel stood out as one of the most memorable. It is a beautiful hotel, with well appointed rooms, great views and excellent service. The food was delicious, plentiful and served by a very friendly and helpful waiter. Kudos to the management and staff for making our stay such a lovely one. We could not have asked for a better experience and it set the tone for what turned out to be a hugely enjoyable holiday in Italy.
