Stopped off once after an arduous hike to get some gelato. Everything else was closed at 2:45. Were thrilled to find that something was open...one of the waiters could speak "British English" and informed us that they "never" close. While I was admiring the large selection of ice cream, he offered to make us a sandwich. We split a panini and it was very good. I requested a large ice cream with 4 different flavors and it was HUGE...much larger portions than anything else I had gotten in Italy. The flavors were wonderful. We returned a couple of days later for more ice cream and got equally large portions. Regret not knowing about this place before.
