By far our favorite restaurant in Chora!! We enjoyed it so much we went back again and brought our friends (and likely will go one last time before we have to leave Naxos).

As you walk the main street along the harbor, you see restaurant after restaurant after restaurant all serving pretty much the same thing. Feels touristy. But venture to the end opposite the ferry terminal and you'll discover this small path where Strofii is located. And right away you'll know you are someplace different and special!

The view is outstanding. You sit right on the water (no noisy road in front of you) and you have the perfect vantage point for sunset.

But it will be the food that has you raving! Delicious, perfectly cooked seafood. Grilled octopus, sea bass, sea bream, cuddlefish, lobster, mixed seafood risotto, and even a perch burger. With excellent sauces and sides. The wine list is imaginative, well priced and all paired well with their food. The kitron sorbet at the end of the meal was a terrific surprise.

Service is outstanding: attentive without hovering or pushy and great honest recommendations.

Escape touristy food and visit Stofili to taste Naxos seafood at its best!

We fell in love with Strofili. The Seabass was heavenly and the meat-filled squid that my husband ordered was adventurous. The adventure paid off with the first bit. Unique and a gastronomical pleasure. The setting is 1 minute from the bustle of the promenade and right, right on the water. Katerina tended to our every need. Food service was prompt but was not hurried. Our favorite place in Naxos.

We were a table of 8 and had a wonderful dinner here!! My swordfish was cooked perfectly, not dry like it is often prepared. It was also a generous helping. The grilled vegetables were flavorful as well. The seafood risotto was rich and yummy. The Lobster linguini was also quite good. Try the strofili salad. The dressing was delicious. The only dish that was reported as "ok" was the gouna which was a type of mackerel. Our meal was finished off with tsimini, a delightful liqueur that is made on the island. Delightful evening.

We returned twice to this lovely restaurant. Great staff, beautiful food, and the perfect venue for watching the sun set.

We like to eat early, so 8 pm was perfect. We had attentive service, delicious taster and starter and quite perfect sword fish and paella.

We would certainly recommend this restaurant and its location away from the hubbub on the main quay is peaceful and away from the traffic.

A large outdoor eating space onto the shore. Food was priced a above most of the other restaurants in the town but it delivered a different dining experience. The food was well cooked and staff very helpful. Wine was sold by the glass or the bottle no carafes unlike all the other places. Given the setting it seemed a little pretentious. Not for us but obviously enjoyed by many. You get what you see.
