A friend who runs bike tours in Europe recommended this hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel owner was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation on where to eat lunch. The food at the hotel was also very good including the breakfast. The location is a short and easy walk to the town center. The only downside is that it was very hot when we were visiting and even thought the large door to the balcony opened completely the room did not cool down enough for me. The rest of my family was warm but slept fine. This is a no frills hotel with great access to all that is offered nearby.

We stayed here for a few days. Rooms were a bit old, but functional. Restaurant is great. We missed a bit a cozy bar. The bar is worn out, a bit basic. Hotel would benefit of some limited renovation. Very friendly staff. Price is just a bit too high for its current state

Four of us stayed at this hotel on a recent cycling trip to the Pyrennes. It was our first time in the area. Jean-Paul and his family ( including Aslan the dog), were warm and welcoming. They provided us with lots of useful local knowledge on routes. The hotel is ideal for a cycling trip and offers great value for money. They do good home cooked food and some very tempting local wines. We will definitely return.

Lucky we got an upgrade to our room where we had a mountain view which was absolutely stunning. The room is very comfortable and the staff are hospitable. Plenty of parking. Around 5 min drive to town for a variety of restaurants. 30 min drive to Cirque de Gavarnie.

While a modest hotel this was one of my favourite places to stay during a road trip through Spain and France. The owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. We asked them for advice on areas to go hiking and they gave us some great places to check out (one of which is Cirque du Gavernie, a relatively easy hike to a beautiful UNESCO world heritage site). The view from our room was amazing and overlooked the mountains. Also if you like dogs, you'll often find the owner's son's dog Aslan milling about town and in the hotel. I recommend eating at the hotel for dinner as there isn't much open very late for meals.
