ok - so BMW own the hotel and employees get a terrific deal, it has to be said, however it is open to non employees and offers very good value for money. It is somewhat remote - 16 Km away from Reutte - so once you get back from your day out, you are here to stay ( in the winter at least ). No opportuniies locally to go anywhere. However there are two retaurants and a bar in the basement, small swimming pool - but you get the Reutte guestcard, which gives you 2 hours a day fee in the Therm in Reutte - so the swimming pool here is really just a way of entertaining the small kids if needed. There is also a sauna - textile free, as they say. Behind the hotel there is a small grassy area so you can play outside, or sledge a little, as we did today. There is a small fitness area, films are shown for the kids in the evening and of course somewhere to store you ski gear. The hotel isn't comparable with many of the excellent "wellness" Hotels that you find in Germany and Austria - but that's not it's intention - they charge ca. €400 for a family room per night - here you pay a lot less.
