I would say this place is mediocre at best. I figured the food might be lacking when we didn’t smell the smoke outside the establishment. Perhaps it was bewas because we went at lunch and they didn’t have sufficient time to fire up the smoker. Anyway, the pulled pork needed some seasoning beyond the mild hickory smoke. The hush puppies had a good flavor but they were in the fryer a tad bit too long. The Cole slaw was drier than what I expected. They have a variety of BBQ sauces e.g., sweet, vinegar-based, hot, and a honey mustard. None was memorable; all were merely adequate . The server was friendly.
