Two of the best meals we have ever eaten were artistically created by Meseret Crockett! She is divine! Her warmth, caring, and skills are all obvious! Every bite is delicious and complex! Every flower, herb, food, and wine is chosen with care. Dining at the Hope and Glory is not just a meal, it is an experience, and one that should not be missed!

Staying here is like dropping back in time, with wonderful old accommodations (no tv or piped in music, yet meets every need for comfort and relaxation. Dining is an experience, not only in gourmet food paired with excellent wines, but also with a careful mix of other visitors and locals

Our meal was superb. Four courses, one more delicious than the next. The chef, Meseret, was fabulous. She introduced each of the courses, explained the ingredients and the thought behind each one. There were 8 of us in our party and we all remarked how special the evening was, not just because of the sumptuous feast but because of her presence/knowledge, personality and engagement.

We had one of the best meals we have ever eaten courtesy of Chef Meseret. The crab cakes were delicious and of course the oysters, were as well. Everything was so fresh and only the finest ingredients. She puts such detail into every aspect of the meal and it shows. I really appreciated how she provided gluten-free options for us (with advance notice) and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our meal.

It was such a memorable way to celebrate our anniversary! We will be back.
