We have just returned from the Baia Grande hotel in Portugal . Both really enjoyed ourselves.
The hotel is beautifully clean and tidy well done to the cleaning staff
The outside pool is large and looks good, there was never a mad rush to get beds which was a nice change.
The food at the pool bar was good if a bit pricey, we were surprised at the cost of food and drink in the area as a whole. We were told it was quite a bit lower than UK but we didn’t find this to be true.
The staff at the hotel reception and pool bar were excellent , however the staff in the piano bar were arrogant and ignorant which meant we spent as little time as possible in there. The hotel is around 15 mins in a taxi from the old town and a bit longer to the strip, we used Uber which was cheaper than the local cabs.
Overall we had a lovely time

Nice hotel but not child friendly when it come to prams. We had to literally carry the pram up and down stairs to access the pool. Not really ideal. Pool bar food was amazing but hot food not so much. Luckily we ate out. Location quote but nice. Would return but not with a child until or was of walking g age due to lack of ramps
