I come here with my boxer Lenny during the snowfall months to kill his energy and get some decent snowshoeing in.
The trails themselves are quite easy, you run into virtually no obstacles or elevation change. The network is small and at some points links up to horseshoe valley. You can spend a few hours here and never snowshoe the same trail. Great spot for short walks during the warmer months.
TIPS: Hunting is permitted here so be aware of hunting seasons. There are also trap lines in Copeland. Parking on the side of the road in the winter can land you a ticket (parking lot is not plowed). Please pick up your trash, including dog bags!
