Burrito Perdido is in an unassuming spot - the building seems to be part of a gas station. But don't let that put you off. Inside you'll find fresh food made to order. They have a "no can" policy and it shows!
We stopped in because they carry vegan cheese and sour cream. As a vegan, Mexican restaurants can be challenging, but not here. They have many dishes that can be made vegan. While the don't have any meat substitutes, they have vegan beans and they also have sauteed veggies you can add.
We ordered the giant chimichanga and the nachos with the sauteed veggies. When they say "giant" they aren't kidding. It ended up being two meals. On both dishes, they were very generous with the Daiya cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. The salsa is fresh and delicious. And you have to get the house made hot sauce! It'll make you sad next time a place gives you that canned stuff.
You order at the counter and then they bring your food. The staff was super nice and seemed completely knowledgeable about their ingredients.
