We just stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. Very friendly staff and they were always cleaning something. It even smelled clean. The breakfast was good and if you wanted something bigger you could walk across the parking lot. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we slept very well. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area visiting relatives.

The employees are super friendly and accommodating. We had several families stay for a reunion and the front desk staff helped us by recommending things to do and see, and generally made us feel at home. The kids loved the pool. Breakfast was good and had something for everyone. Hot coffee and cold lemon water was always available. The rooms were clean and had a microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee maker. Wi-fi was available too. We would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: We were on the second floor and did not hear anything during the night.

We stayed for one evening and the Comfort Inn was a wonderful choice for us. The check-in was swift and professional by Stan. After speaking with Stan for a few moments we discovered that we both had served in the Army and we shared a few past memories. We were directed where to park and Stan informed us of the hotel amenities. The entire hotel is well maintained. Our room was nice and we even had a nice view of the mountains in this beautiful area. The Internet is fast, stable and password protected. Comfort Inn serves a full breakfast; well maintained, again as everything is here, and the young lady working was very helpful and polite. Another area that my wife and I discussed, is the hotel is 100% smoke free.Nice touch Comfort Inn; much appreciated. We would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for a view; the hotel has them.

We stopped in on the Monday night of Memorial Day weekend, looking for a place to crash before continuing our journey home the next day and this place was perfect. Our 3rd floor room had easy access to the elevator, ice and a scenic view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Breakfast was a fresh cooked eggs after a great nights sleep on the king size bed.

Room Tip: Best view are rooms that face the front

I made a reservation to Comfort Inn in Big Stone Gap several months ago through Hotels.Com. I noted we had service dog, but called a week ahead to make sure they were notified. I was asked type of disability, which is not suppose to occur. I did let them know the dog was a medical alert, and was told they only recognize blind, hearing or mobility dogs. I cancelled my reservation, and found accommodations elsewhere.
