Mitzi and Greg were friendly and helpful hosts of this small older inn. The Inn is located in a large house (with two private homes on the way down the driveway, somewhat confusing in the dark ). There is an outdoor pool. The lawn and gardens are cheerful and well tended and there are flowers everywhere. There is a separate room to keep bikes/skis. A stream runs along one side of the property, and there are chairs and tables alongside. THere is a swimming hole further down the creek (but we had a spell of rain and never got the chance to see it). Greg builds timber furniture, and the room furniture - bed, chairs, table - were all his fine handiwork. THe upstairs room was simple but adequate, clean and comfortable, with lots of information about things to do in Stowe. This is a perfect place if you like to hike, bike, and ski - it is close to the Stowe rec trail, mountian biking trails, the ski runs, etc. There are friendly resident cats who greet you and love to be petted. We liked the friendly casual feel of the Inn.
