We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and we found it to be a good place to relax. Even though the hotel was full, the breakfast room was set up to accommodate the large number of people.

We found this hotel by using Hotwire, and we couldn’t be more surprised at the quality and service. The room was very modern and the morning breakfast was great. We definitely recommend this place when in Burlington.

I was slightly wary of this hotel on arrival as the reception area is a bit worn and tired. Upon arriving at our room though it was clear the hotel is in the midst of a refurb.
The room was light, bright and spacious. The lighting is excellent and the decor modern without being extreme. The air con in the room wasn't great though - over a 3 day stay we were unable to get the temperature below 74 despite the air con running continuously - that's just a bit too warm for me.

The bathroom is beautiful. Fabulous huge shower which felt open with room to move around and the vanity area felt very spacious.

Refrigerator was handy and the coffee maker appreciated although we didn't use it.

I'm sure when the rest of the hotel is remodelled it will be fabulous and the location is ideal for getting around. Although it's on a busy road we had no noise whatsoever.

Couple of things which need addressing:
The fitness room had no towels for the 3 days I used it and the pool area wasn't yet open so I had to trail back to the room for a towel. The air con did not seem to be functioning and the atmosphere in the fitness room was damp. In fact, the floor was so moist and slippery it was simply too dangerous to do any kind of workout on it.

The breakfast lady on the Monday and Tuesday (long blonde hair) was lovely. Very nice to all guests and kept on top of things. This was in stark contrast to the lady on the Sunday morning who ignored guests, even when they spoke directly to her and asked questions, hid in the kitchen and didn't come out to replenish items and generally made it clear that she didn't want to be there.

Have cinnamon buns been taken away from HIE.? They weren't served up at all during our stay.

I would like to start by apologizing to you for not meeting your expectations with the hvac not working properly and there being no towels in the pool and fitness areas. We do offer cinnamon buns still it could be that we were out of them during your stay. My husband and I stayed here for one night over a weekend in September. The room was beautiful. The bathroom and shower were very spacious and night. The room had a refrigerator and a mini Keurig which was wonderful. The breakfast the next morning was very nice. Plenty of food options and most of all CLEAN!

The rooms were newly remodeled and very modern. We had a very nice stay and this is a great hotel for the price. The pool was nice and breakfast had a good selection. Would definitely stay there again.
