Everything had been recently updated. The accessible room was perfect. For the ireakfast, you had to go outside and across the driveway. The breakfast was ok. Just ok. Nothing more than the usual hotel breakfast. I would stay here again and recommend it for others. My travel companion was in a different room and she found her room to be perfect. She was very happy with it.

I like this hotel mainly because you see that rooms are renovated. Other areas still need some refresh. Breakfast is super basic. Pillows and linens should be new too. Hopefully they will change it soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights during a ski trip to Killington. Great hotel, very satisfied and would definitely recommend. Great wifi, and my son is very picky with having a good connection, but we had no issues and the WiFi was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. We used the pool and hot tub, both were nice. The pool was heated and usable even during the bitter cold snap recently. Hot tub was very nice and we looked forward to relaxing each night after skiing.
The breakfast was decent, typical selection but very good make your own waffles.
Overall, I'd gladly stay here again and recommend this hotel in Rutland. Not too far of a drive to Killington and Pico. Good selection of restaurants in the area. Parking was decent. Staff was very nice.

Room was clean, water was hot, wifi worked good, center location for good restaurants. My new lodging spot for a ski trip. The only negative thing I could say was kids were running up and down the hall way.

It is indeed a little beat up on the outside and in the lobby area. This is due to the location, the skiers, the weather, and general wear and tear. The two buildings and the spread out arrangement and the oldish site do not lend themselves to being more modern and up to date. It is being worked on as much as it can. After all it is in downtown Rutland which is a good location in a oldish, working city.

All that said, the people are great, the food is fine for this type of breakfast, and the room was real clean, modern and newish. We have stayed here once before and it was good then too. The price is good too, the second night was lower. The place was quite quiet on Christmas eve and the 25th.

BTW, is anyone else having trouble with the Rewards system? I cannot seem to make it work. Best Western is MUCH easier.

Room tip: Always go for the top floor away from the elevator
