My wife and I attended a week-long pastry class and had a few opportunities to have lunch in the KAF Cafe. Everything was delicious - pastries, BLT sandwiches, salads, pizza slices, etc. In particular, the sandwiches were prepared with hearty breads and fresh local ingredients. The pastry class was excellent so the combination of the class and cafe made for an enjoyable get away. In fact, we are returning in January for two additional classes!

We started the afternoon by having a delicious lunch in the cafe. There was a good variety of menu choices. We took a very interesting bread making class. Even the non-bakers in our group had a great time. Shopping at the King Arthur store was a real treat.

It's in the style of Panera where you order and wait for your food and bring it to your table.
It was very busy, lunch time, but the wait was bearable by people watching and viewing how they make bread which was just opposite the tables. We ordered a sandwich that was a special of the day, and it was worth the wait. Delicious, fresh, hot. There is a pitcher of tap water available for free with glasses. This is Vermont, clean and geeen. No cola products, but we were happy with flavored seltzer.

A very wide range of choices of sandwich fillings - all freshly prepared to order and served on good quality and tasty bread. It is a very good choice for lunch - although it clearly gets very busy at times.

Just happened to be driving by on our trip, and stopped here for lunch. Bought some amazing bread (Semolina), and a few other things in the store. For lunch, and a delicious beet sandwich, and my husband ordered a sandwich with salami. While they were both delicious, we didn't notice right away that they forgot to put the meat on the sandwich. It was still good, but would have been better! I loved the store too.
