Description: Amy's creative approach to combining ingredients results in an intriguing and delicious menu. Enjoy a memorable fine dining experience while relaxing in our rustic cobblestone walled restaurant and greenhouse garden room. Our broad wine list and extensive selection of spirits will provide just the right accompaniment for your meal. And as a reward for eating all your veggies, you should treat yourself to a delicious homemade dessert. Afterwards, feel free to stop in at our spirited local tavern for an after dinner drink or a game of darts, with live music in the tavern on most Friday evenings.

This is by far one of the best restaurants we have EVER been to. The outdoor grounds are just gorgeously manicured and landscape. We had a ball just taking pictures by the babbling brook and flowered arches. The food was so delicious and the cocktails delish! The manager and servers were cheerful and enthusiastic. We loved the fancy juke box that we could control with out iPhone. We were not at all rushed. The menu items are truly unique with lovely presentation. We would come back here again and again.

We went to the restaurant to find out only he tavern was open and neither the outside or the main Dining room, it was about 7pm on Monday night. We did not have a reservation. We were told to wait, and then the manager? Came back and told us the kitchen was behind on orders and we could not be seated. We were basically asked to leave. There were several other couples behind us, and there were at least 8 empty tables that we could see. Very poor customer service. I have never been told to find someplace else to eat when the restaurant was open for several more hours. They need to get their act together or hire more people.

Recommended by our Bed and Breakfast. Beautiful night to sit outside. Food and service was wonderful. Friendly atmosphere. We sat on the tavern side, “the other woman”. Afterwards we walked the grounds. We saw a pretty garden and a stream. This is my idea of relaxation.

We arrived at 9:30 with a group of 12 people and they didn't bat an eyelash. They sat us and took our orders knowing it would cause them to stay open late. The food was fantastic. I had the crab cakes and they were delicious

First, it's confusing what the place is now called, as is seems like the restaurant closed, and the tavern is open, but still called The Perfect Wife, not The Other Woman Tavern. Something like that. They do not take reservations. We did not have to wait for a table on Saturday night during Memorial Day weekend, but we arrived a little after 6pm. Lines started forming when we were leaving, but mostly because the staff seemed to disappear, so there were tables, but our waitress never came back, and the maitre'd, Tom, didn't tend to the people standing there.
Place was loud, but clean. Food was VERY good!!! Good prices with a nice variety on the menu. Full bar, specials, and friendly service when it is actually there.
I had the Prime Rib French Dip which was AMAZING!!! The quinoa pilaf was not good, but the fries & onion rings were very good, so go with those or try the mashed or slaw instead as your side with a sandwich. Oh and my french dip was really a large portion. The waitress brought extra napkins, but very little au jus with the sandwich and didn't refill our water glasses at all. Offered dessert, but she then never came back. Some other waitress brought the bill and that was that.
My husband really enjoyed his burger, and my friends liked their meals, (the chicken sandwich and another french dip). So, again, GREAT food, good prices, noisy, but weird stuff with the staff!
