Room clean and comfortable.
Convenient location. We enjoyed the nearby Skyline Drive and Hilldene.
Large, pleasant grounds.
Breakfast simple. Internet ok.
Rarely saw proprietors. We were the only ones at breakfast.
Could do with an information sheet listing breakfast time, wifi password etc.

Stayed: September 2017, travelled with family

Rooms were very clean and the staff friendly. The manager even lent me his umbrella to take to a rainy wedding. Breakfast was simple but good. Any questions I had were promptly answered when I called the front desk. Good wifi signal.

If you need a clean, quiet night sleep, with no frills and are ok with kitsch, then this is a place for you!
Has that '1950's motel smell'.
Granted the carpet, upholstery are stained, the paint is flaking off the ceiling, and the wallpaper is starting to peel annnnnd underneath the sink is rusty.
New AC,tv and cable! Ample parking, great location, close to town.
Tub was slippery and my husband fell, actually.(He's ok)
And if you're thirsty, a convenient bottle opener in the bathroom!

Room Tip: Do not get the room below the living quarters of the owners. They sounded like elephants.

This is an old-fashioned motel complete with places in front of the room to sit and enjoy a Vermont evening. The rooms are large, very clean and well appointed (except for iron/ironing board which you have to request). The service is very friendly and helpful. The grounds (in July) are beautiful and large enough to take a stroll in the morning admiring the banks of flowers.

The hotel was clean. The room had A/C, mini-fridge, desk, sitting chair, flat screen TV, and dresser. There was wi-fi, but I had to disconnect and reconnect several times throughout my stay. The wi-fi speed was mediocre. The manager was not very informative. He just had me sign the receipt and gave me the keys. There is a pool, but I did not use it. There is an ice machine. There was no breakfast and no laundry. The restaurant choices are okay in Manchester but not great. The price was better than the surrounding options but still a little high for what you get. The choices in there area just aren't good.
