We visited a few other times after they first opened and we were not impressed but our last visit was actually great. It's still pricey but the food was much better this time and more on par with what you would expect given the beautiful atmosphere! Get the macaroni and cheese topped with short ribs! So delicious and rich!

We ate here on Thanksgiving, just before the World Cup races at Killington. It was fun because it was a central location for the racers and coaches, but the food was really not at the level that you would expect for the prices. Two of us ordered the Thanksgiving dinner, the portions of which were surprisingly small, but acceptable. My husband's meat was oversalted, but better quality. The dessert was good, as was the service. Still, I believe this restaurant aspires to be a higher quality than the food we were served. If I were to go here again, I would probably order a burger or other sandwich, which appeared to have reasonable prices and are less likely to disappoint.

The new winter menu was being featured them night we had supper at Preston's. Lots of different food to choose from. The restaurant was completely remodeled from 2 years ago. Comfortable and cozy for apres ski crowd.

Since we were staying at the Grand Hotel during a very busy weekend, we decided to eat at Preston's to avoid taking the car to find another restaurant.

We didn't have any reservation so we had to wait quite a while (up to 40 minutes) before getting a seat. Unfortunately the restaurant is not using beepers and since we had an italian mobile number it couldn't be used to warn us that our table was available. A little bit frustrating as it forced us to seat in front of the restaurant for the whole time, just to make sure we were not going to miss our turn.

Food was good, although we didn't find the mac and cheese to be particularly memorable. I liked the burger, although the portion was a little bit small compared to what we are used to during our vacations in the States.

Vast selection of beers, some of them really good (Long Trail IPA being my favourite) although they don't come cheap at all.

The restaurant was expensive in general, but I can understand that considering the price of the Grand Hotel that hosts it.

If you are staying there and you want an easy dinner, you can definitely eat here. Just remember to book in advance.

We stayed at the Killington Grand where Preston's is located. This restaurant with great. We had their traditional turkey dinner and the pork center cut. Both great. Waitstaff were very attentive and efficient. Loved it.
