My husband used to live in Killington so we visit several times each winter and have stayed in many different spots. This place has become our favorite and go to spot over the last three years. We love the big hot breakfast, the huge hot tub, hot tea and bar area. But the best part is definitely the staff. We just made our first winter trip this year, we now have a 3 year old and 6 month old, and they were so friendly and helpful the whole time. We had a great day on the mountain and came back to fresh cookies, hot cocoa and coffee by the fire, played with the games, and they were even nice enough to put the movie on early for my over tired three year old. We enjoyed dinner in the bar and took turns hitting up the hot tub. If you are a family you really can’t ask for any more amenities or ways to make your apres time more relaxing and enjoyable. But even without kids, the breakfast, pool table, bar and hot tub would keep anyone entertained. Toddlers can be stressful but the whole staff, from breakfast to the front desk, talked to my daughter and made her feel special and welcome, which made us feel the same. We especially appreciated Alicia who went above and beyond our whole trip to make it special. I think our days of trying different spots are over, we can’t wait to come back!

The wife booked a great deal with a groupon for the weekend of the Nov. 17-19 for the Killington Mtn. Lodge. We arrived on the 17th at 4pm and were warmly greeted. The lobby was spacious and clean. Included was daily breakfast and a $25 credit to the lounge. We checked into our room which was a King size room, comfortable and clean, The décor was dated but we didn't care, we were only sleeping there, The huge 20 person hot tub was down that evening, bummer.
We went out for the evening drove up to Killington to check out the set up for the World Cup which was the following weekend. We then headed back down to dinner at Wobbly Barn which was great. We came back to the Lodge and the fireplace in the lobby was roaring felt like winter. We went up the lounge and used our credit on drinks!
The one thing that was off was that the tub drained slow but again no big deal. King size bed was comfortable. The second day the Hot tub was fixed but it was only 92 degrees. We went in at night and it was pouring rain out and the temps in the mid 30's. Though not hot, we had a good soak and scramble back into the lodge near a roaring fire. Overall very pleased with our stay, very friendly staff, real good breakfast, and clean. If you are skiers or boarders this is the place to go. We will be back.

Threadbare towels peeling plastic coating in rusty tub.
Very poor excuse given it's 3.5 star rating

Location is good but needs attention to facilities. Nasty stairs...ripped carpets...
Why not have the rooms be as nice as the lobby... deceiving
