Every detail was lovely! Olivia, Angela were outstanding at wedding coordination. Our guests loved it. The food and service were second to none. Locally made cheese, maple syrup & homemade yogurt surronded by our family & friends. Tracey one of the servers was such a cheerful and pleasant person. We would highly recommend then venue for weddings or a leisurely get away in lovely Vermont.

Room Tip: All rooms are carefully appointed. White Hall House is Beautiful for a small group gathering.

We truly had a glorious time at the Grafton Inn. It is like time stood still. The Inn is beautiful with two roaring wood burning fireplaces. You are greeted with cheese, crackers and the best homemade cookies ever, along with coffee, tea and hot apple cider. The rooms are very historic with no TV, fridge or microwave. Just canopy beds and a real key to open the locked door. The food is farm to table and locally sourced and delicious. The town is very historic, just like the Inn. But what really stands out is the staff. The front desk staff (Sean and Steve and really nice woman on Sunday morning, the wait staff, especially Ben, who is so friendly. The other guests are so kind and warm too. the included breakfast is amazing. Don't miss the pancakes with the fresh Vermont maple syrup and the muffins. The Grafton Ponds is such a nice retreat with all the recreation you could imagine. Winter Carnival was really fun! Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing, beautiful stay and sharing your town and Inn with us and our children. You are in for a treat if you stay here!

Room Tip: Each room is unique. We loved room 9, Aunt Sophie Fisk's Parlor

My wife and I had a fun stay at the Grafton Inn over the Grafton winter carnival. The inn is located in a lovely, small town nestled into the hills of Vermont. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and our room was cozy. We cross country skied and snowshoed and listened to some fun bluegrass and zydeco fiddle and banjo -- a great weekend all around.

The Grafton Inn is the perfect Vermont get-away! Rooms are quiet, well appointed with very comfortable bedding. The common rooms with fireplaces are lovely places to curl up with a book and a glass of wine. Breakfast is excellent with plenty of options. The dining room was closed when we were there, so we had dinner in Phelps Barn. Our meal was wonderful. This one of our favorite destinations to get some R&R in the Vermont Mountains!

My daughter chose the Grafton Inn for her wedding the weekend of Dec. 1st. The entire town was decorated for the holidays, the inn was beautifully decorated, fireplaces crackled, and holiday music filled the air when we arrived.

It's easy to feel transported back in time when driving into Grafton. At times it felt like we were the only people in town. In addition to the beautiful, historic main inn, guests were able to stay in several homes owned and operated by the Windham Foundation. Families or, as in our case, bridesmaids and groomsmen, who want to have a bit more privacy loved the ability to select just the right home for the weekend. There are also dog-friendly homes (the bride and groom brought their 2 dogs) and loved having their "family with them.

The food was superb! A full breakfast each day did not disappoint. We fell in love with Vermont corn beef hash, blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs with asparagus and much more. Our wedding rehearsal lasagne dinner (veggie and meat) was perfect and the reception menu featured perfectly cooked steak with garlic aiole sauce, roast chicken, fingerling potatoes and individual strawberry rhubarb pies.

We can't say enough about the Grafton Inn staff. Olivia, our wedding coordinator, made everything seem effortless. From the initial inquiry to the rehearsal and wedding itself, she was meticulous, easy to get along with and very professional. The staff even packed up all our decorations after the reception so we wouldn't have to. We really felt like family. We can't wait to return!

Room Tip: Talk to the booking staff and let them help you select the perfect accomodation for your needs.
