We went to Henry’s Diner for breakfast. The atmosphere is authentic. The buildings around the diner have grown around this little piece of history. A great piece of history it is with it being open since 1925. The atmosphere is even better on the inside with genuine tables, chairs, countertops to the wait staff dressing in period uniforms. The food was great and prices reasonable.

Henry's is located just off the Church Street Mall on a side street (Bank) but everyone knows where it is. 2 of us stopped by for breakfast on a Saturday. Classic diner in architecture, design and food. Lots of hustle and bustle. Coffee was average. We both ordered the "Weekend Scramble", scrambled eggs with broccoli and cheddar, we split a side order of sausage links (2) and had English Muffins and some type of 'potato' side.

Service was friendly and efficient.

Eggs were fine, sausage average, the 'potato' side was a cheesy lump of "I don't know what" and clumped (served) onto the plate with an ice cream scoop. The English Muffins were excellent.

My opinion is that $30 plus tip is expensive for breakfast. We tried it because Henry's is well known. It was OK.

I am very sorry to hear you were less than pleased with your visit. We strive for perfection but don't hit that mark 100% of the time.

If you downtown again we hope you will give us another try. We would love to get a second chance!

We had to wait a bit to get in but it was worth it. Waitress was super nice and very helpful with menu choices. We decided on the chicken gyro and a philly steak and cheese.
I was able to swap fries for their hash brown casserole (yum) and I recommend that. My husband and I split our sandwiches so we could have both. They were so fresh and delicious. The steak was really good and the roll for the cheese steak was one of the best I've had. The crispy chicken gyro had homemade sauce and fresh tomatoes and onions. Even the fries were awesome. I love crispy fries and these were perfect. Overall service and food quality excellent! Our bill was $22 and we can't wait to go back ( maybe breakfast tomorrow ).

Food was Excellent! Went here for breakfast twice, food was so good. Great coffee too, very good service. The place is small, so we sat at the "bar". Great diner, highly recommend
