I stayed at Sunset House Bed and Breakfast as part of a poetry holiday. I travelled from Melb Australia. I was so impressed with this cosy B and B and particular the hospitality of Nancy and Paul the owners. It is in a brilliant location in the beautiful Burlington and was close to down town, cycle and car hire. Also a five minute walk the to stunning Lake Champlain. The B and B was cosy and homelike which is so much nicer than a motel and hotel. It was impeccably clean and the food provided was generous. A five star rating from me and a special thanks to Nancy and Paul for making my stay fantastic.

We changed plans at the last minute and decided to stay right in Burlington. Checked a few hotels and found them very expensive. The Sunset House is a PERFECT location and reasonably priced. Plus easy parking in back. Right between Church St (pedestrian market area) and the waterfront. Nancy and Paul were very friendly though we didn't see them too much. Our room was small, but clean and cozy (with a queen bed and closet). Breakfast was "serve yourself", but plenty of nice options (berries, yogurt, bagels, local jams, coffee, juice). I would definitely stay at Sunset House again.

Comfy rental with all the comforts of home and within walking distance of downtown, Church St., waterfront and more. Owners have created a great little gem in a city with lots to do and see. Period touches in the house add to the charm. Nicely appointed kitchen and laundry. Tasteful decor. Good for couples or families.

My friend and I went to Burlington to do a craft beer tour, and managed to get a room at the Sunset House for the evenings of Oct 1st and 2nd. We were in the Train Room - 2 single beds, small and cozy, and with a train motif. Nancy was great when we arrived, very friendly and full of good information about where would be good places to check out. Right in the heart of the downtown core, the location could not be any better... 5 minutes to either the Church strip or Lake Champlain. The house is very quiet, the living room was great to watch a few innings of the ballgame, the breakfast was basic but the coffee was great. 2 bathrooms with full showers, the place was spotless, would highly recommend this place to anyone.

My husband & I spent our 30th anniversary in Burlington,VT on Lake Champlain! We found this jewel of a place to stay that is so close to all our favorite places to visit in this great town. The innkeepers, Paul & Nancy, were friendly, and inviting! Nancy has a great sense of humor.....we also got to meet a few guests from far away places and across the border. The suite was plentiful, the breakfasts were light & easy (yogurt, bagels, cereals, toast, fruit), shared baths. The cost quite reasonable.......we'll be back in the Fall!
