My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Chelsea Farm. Emmy, the proprietor, is the perfect hostess. I can't say enough about the hospitality, the cleanlieness of the accommodations and the wonderful breakfasts. We have been visiting Chelsea Farm now twice yearly for over five years. In the winter we look forward to sitting by the fire and snow shoeing on nearby Silver Lake. In the summer, there is so much to see in the area. The Barnard Inn Restaurant is within walking distance of the Farm and is a must place to dine when visiting. All in all, we can't say enough about Emmy and the Chelsea Farm. We have already booked our summer stay.

friends recommended the inn at chelsea farm when i mentioned a college chum and i wanted a restful and quiet spot removed from but easily accessing activity. chelsea farms was perfect! we each had a lovely bedroom with private bath, fabulous breakfasts prepared by the innkeeper emily and could go explore woodstock, take a ski run, or simply curl up with a book by the fire. the delight of bed and breakfasts is in the people one meets, emily's other guests, a couple, were back for their fourth time because 'it feels like home'. i look forward to my return next fall for the turning of the leaves.
