“Okay Place but shop around”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 February 2012

I stayed here while on business. I was disappointed for the amount of money for a room in Central Utah ($79.00) there was no fridge or microwave in the room. To have those amenities a suite was required for more money and the hotel was not very busy.

It was late when I arrived and having to keep my food in the car and go to the hotel lobby to heat up water for tea was inconvenient, especially since I was located on the third floor. I may expect this at other hotels but not a Holiday Inn Express, especially one that had good reviews on Tripadvisor and cost as much as the Fairfield Inn also located in Richfield.

My room was also located next to a heater located in the hall and I could hear each time it turned on and off. In addition, I could hear the person in the next room turn their bathroom fan on and snoring.

I recommend looking at other places to stay in Richfield or stay in Scipio where one hotel is located off I-15 where you can obtain a clean room including a fridge, microwave, and continental breakfast for $55 per night.

Room Tip: Not on the freeway side of the hotel!

Superlatives all around: friendly, clean, very attractive, convenient to I-70, pet-friendly (with nice grounds adjacent), comfortable nice-sized room, and an exceptional "free" breakfast!
It was a perfect stopping place driving from the CA desert to the CO front range.

Room Tip: Turn the fan on to block out any noise from the hall

we embarked on a daring road trip with our 3 year old son from CA to Colorado. After a good long 6+ hr ride from Las Vegas we were ready to stop for the night. Truthfully, we read the reviews on Trip Advisor and decided this was our place. We confirmed this by seeing that all the other hotels in the area were completely empty. At first we were afraid the glowing reviews may be written by friends or workers of the hotel but once we got there the reviews are pretty much right on. The rooms are immaculate and the people who work there are super friendly. clearly they take pride in working there and it's very apparent by the condition of the place. The best part for me was that the sheets felt new and super clean. Please keep up the good work and we'll be sure to come back!

Smack dab in the middle of nowhere (aka Mormon Country) sits Richfield, Utah, population 8,000. 3 hours from SLC and 4 hours from Vegas, I love coming out here over the holidays to visit my mother, who remarried and moved out here with her new husband years ago.

Why is this hotel the "Gold Standard"? First of all, it is clear that the management takes immense pride in their Holiday Inn outpost. From the little touches, like putting up a Christmas tree with fake gifts around the holidays, Christmas lights, decoration, and general festiveness. Why bother? Pride.. I love their small gym, too (it has just enough gear for a full workout). They have Precor equipment (which is a necessity for hotel gyms!), an awesome pool and hot tub that is always clean and functional, and the nicest staff of any place I've ever stayed.

The breakfast is by no means a five star breakfast, but it is satisfactory and hits the spot (lowfat yoplait, skim milk and honey nut cheerios is usually favored over the from-a-container-scrambled-egg-mix and greasy bacon).

For the money - this is the best value in Southern Utah, and despite a number of other places popping up around here recently, this is my "go to".

By the time we reached the hotel we were all exhausted from a very long drive. Buddy Brown was so nice and had us checked in and we were in our rooms in no time.

The rooms are wonderful. We decided to stay at the same hotel in Arvada, CO yet it was not so nice.
