The hotel is new, so everything is impeccably clean. Our king room was spacious, bathroom larger than most. Nice selection of bathroom amenities although our lotion was only half full which was odd. Bed comfortable. Front desk staff friendly, greeted us with smiles whenever we saw her. Check in and out was simple. Conveniently located to a handful of dining, grocery store, gas station and highway.

A few items we didn’t like. Sadly, during construction, soundproofing was not done well. Walls are thin, I could hear other guests walking in their rooms and hallway. We were on the 3rd floor, 305. Also, there is a decent gap on the doorframe. It allows a lot of light in, which can bother some sleepers. I’m not sure if any of these are fixable issues, so just be aware.

Unfortunately something went wrong for our breakfast the morning we left. We were told it started at 6:00, when we came downstairs the only items available were pastries, bagels, toast, dairy items and fruit. No eggs or meat, nothing hot. We thought we had just misunderstood so ate what was there. But it seems there was a delay in the hot items being prepared, so we did get some bacon as we left. Disappointing but we felt it was just a fluke.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and if we need to stay in the area in the future, we’d probably return.

What we liked about this hotel:

It's a relatively new property. Our room (accessible) was huge and spotless clean. The bathroom hat a appropriate size as well. The staff was outstandingly friendly and helpful.

What we didn't like:

The walls were very thin. We could hear the washing machines from underneath. They were so loud that we couldn't get any sleep until I called the front desk. They turned them off immediately. Unfortunately the AC or some other mechanical part (supposedly) on the roof had a worn out bearing. So the noise that kept us awake was less without the washer but still hard to ignore. All in all we had a unpleasant night with only little to no sleep

Room Tip: Pick a room away from the washing machine and the AC (on the roof) ...

The HI Express in Price is fantastic. Truly 5 stars. We were traveling through town near the end of a nearly 3000 mile road trip. We'd stayed in a lot of small towns along the way and had started really lowering our expectations. This hotel really blew us away. It was impeccably clean, the beds were plush and comfortable, and it has a sleek, modern style that was both functional and homey. There are USB ports everywhere. I had forgotten how good that little amenity feels after days of fighting to find regular power outlets. And reliable WiFi.

Our four-year-old was super excited about the pool, and it did not disappoint. They had fun pool toys available to play with, and he was completely thrilled. We swam, lazed in the hot tub, and made some new friends. We even hit up the Dairy Queen in the parking lot. This hotel is really convenient to both the freeway and grocery stores, restaurants, and gas.

Breakfast in the morning was also good! I was wishing for a waffle maker, but I settled on making a breakfast sandwich out of a bagel, some sausage, and a cheese omelette. (Try it and thank me later!) Another little thing that I appreciate about HI Express is that they give you a normal size travel cup for coffee. It's a small thing, but it's just such a nice touch to fill up and know it will last more than 3 minutes.

This was the most enjoyable stay of our entire trip. Thanks for making us feel at home.

This hotel looks, feels, and smells like new, with great styling and good amenities for a longer-term stay if needed. The guest rooms are nicely furnished and with great lighting, and the bathrooms are bright and clean. For those who need to work during their stay, there is ample desk space with several USB ports and plugs. The larger King rooms have a mini kitchenette with table seating. The hot breakfast is expansive—pancake maker, cinnamon rolls, omelets, sausage, assorted breads, etc. and offers a generous seating area. Great value, and highly recommended when staying in Price!
