Marriott’s Summit Watch is 1 of 2 Marriott Vacation Clubs in Park City. If you’re familiar with the Vacation Club concept you’ll have a pretty good idea of what to expect. A nice family resort with rooms that are spacious and supplied with all the necssarities for an extended stay. Summit Watch’s strong point is that it is literally steps away from Park City’s iconic Main Street which features lots of restaurant options, shopping, art, etc. There is a nice paved trail (Poison Creek) along side the resort that runs along Deer Valley Dr. to the City Park and beyond to the Iron Horse district and eastward. It is great for walking, biking, skateboarding, etc. Summit Watch has a more urban feel than the other VC resort- Mountain Side and most certainly can arrange any and all activities that are popular in Park City. There is an Activity Center for kids and a nice, though not extremely large pool. All in all Summit Watch provides a nice relaxing stay in Park City while providing the amenities of any full service resort.

Room Tip: Families with children will probably want to be in a room closer to the Activity Center and Pool

We had a few points left over with our Marriott timeshare vacation club points. So we found Park City Summit Watch and was able to use the exact amount of points for a 1 bedroom suite. The room was nice and liked the decor. Better than most of the other Marriott timeshare properties. Don't get me wrong, many of the Marriott properties are nice but this one was particularly nice. There are several buildings at this property. We were in the Alpine building room 5203. We had a street view which was cute because on the Silly Market they have that runs down the street that the hotel is on.
A great market, which is a lot like other city's farmers market. The room led right to the exit door which was really convenient. Close to the bridge that goes across to the lift. We went in September, hence the good deal on the room / points. Would stay there again. The pool and Jacuzzi was a bit of a distance to walk to but the property has some shops along the way which made it nice. We went to the chili and ice cream social and the chili was homemade and the staff was great! Would stay again!

Room Tip: Alpine building was really close to the bridge but a bit of a distance from the gym and pool

We had a great time at Summit Watch. We had 2 two bedroom villas that were both great. One had a view of the courtyard and some Mountain View, and the other looked out on Deer Valley Drive, so less of a view and some road noise, but nothing bad. Both had electric fireplaces that did generate heat and were nice. Easy walk to the Town Lift for skiing and skis can be stored over by the lift for free. It was also very close to walking trail access and tons of restaurants. We did also have a car, and parking was free and easy (underground). The kids in our group did a lot of activities at the Silver Station and spent tons of time in the pool and hot tubs. They loved it there, and it was great having that for their entertainment.

Salt Lake city airport is a quick drive from Park City and the roads are very well marked. Check in was quick, and parking is free and easily marked in the underground parking area. Our 4th floor one bedroom had no view, but was comfortable and very clean and quiet. Its mud month in Park City and the streets were EMPTY. Some restaurants were closed but most were still open and we never had to wait for a table. The Marriott offered wine tasting one night with music by the John Paul Band..DO NOT MISS THIS BAND....we had a great time listening to them. We did sit in the hot tub by the pool, water could have been warmer but it was enjoyable and we were the only ones by the pool. The concierge was very very helpful, giving us directions to Homestead crater and Sundance. We walked part of the Rail Trail, easy to get to from the Marriott. The weather was perfect for us...we had one day of snow flurries that really made the trip! There was snow in the distance, and the air was cool and fresh. There wasn't a whole lot to do this time of the year, but we enjoyed ourselves.

Thank you for spending time with us at Summit Watch! We will be sure to share your feedback about the hot tub with the maintenance team. A warm hot tub is important after a full day outside. We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Park City!

We are MVC owners and used our points to get a studio for just my husband and myself. We were very happy with the location as we had never been to Park City before and were deciding between it and Marriott’s Mountainside. We chose this property because of its proximity to Main Street. We were not disappointed! We had an actual slight view of the slopes with a courtyard view. It was very quiet and we had no issues with noise, inside or outside. Our studio was perfect for two people with a kitchenette. The sofa bed was extremely comfortable, it was a new memory foam mattress! We had one vehicle and was able to park for free with in and out privileges in the parking garage. You are basically on Main Street so it’s extremely convenient to walk to any restaurant, bar or shop in seconds. The pool and hot tub are awesome, we really enjoyed those after a day of skiing. The kids club is attached to the pool area and seemed to be very nice. Please keep in mind before booking that this is a vacation club, not a full service hotel. That means there is no room service, no daily housekeeping, no valet service or bell service. They had owners events with a beer social, wine social, etc. So overall a very nice place to call home for a few days skiing in Park City. The Town Lift is steps away as well. I would absolutely stay here again if coming back.
