Beautiful and memorable resort. The service was excellent and every staff person I encountered went out of their way to make me feel welcome. My room was first class, king size bed was super comfortable. The attention to every detail really puts the St. Regis in a whole other class. We rode the funicular, for the heck of it, which comes with a gorgeous view of the ski resort. Although I was here in late summer, you can tell from the layout that the St. Regis is designed for ski season. Enjoyed the s'mores and hanging out by the fireplaces. I didn't use the pool, but checked it out and it looked beautiful. All in all, a great experience and somewhere I hope to get back to.

This place is the best! Will definitely come back again, and again, and again! Service is beyond excellent, environment is relaxing, food in hotel restaurant is wonderful! The gym had everything I needed and was more than I expected.

Stayed at the St. Regis for three nights in early September. The hotel is beautiful and in a beautiful setting. Our room had two queen beds and a balcony. Bath was spacious with a shower and tub. Enough hang up room and several drawers. Safe and a refrigerator. We ate breakfast there three mornings...pricey but good.
That being said, the refrigerator really did not cool enough to keep food or drinks cold, the phone with two lines did not work at all. Also the bed lamp had pull chains that would not turn light on without turning entire unit over.
Service was a bit average for this type resort. Bartender was attentive, but restaurant staff a bit slow no matter how crowded.
There are two areas for your car. It seems you come in at a lower level from Park City and your car ends up at an upper level on the other side. I could never get good instructions as to how to get out of that level or get back to it. I finally got them to print off some instructions, but street name was wrong and it did not tell me whether to turn left or right out of the drive. I ended up in a gated community that did not want to let me out(but did after a bit of delay). The instructions said "private road" but i guess we couldn't use it. Also the resort has a shuttle service that is very good going, but a bit skettchy coming back from town, etc. You call and they send you a text saying they are on the way to your restaurant, etc. then i kept getting a text that said my ride was at #92 or #96. No one i asked, including the manager at reception, had any idea what 92 or 96 etc. was. When i texted back, no response. Must have been some type automated system. Took a hour to get back one night. the town was not crowded, but the shuttle kept turning off before reaching where we said we were. (the car staff was very nice when you were with them.)
There are free buses that might be a better option. Parking was a bit tricky in town.
Another issue on two mornings was bumping noises that started at 6:00 am. It lasted about twenty minutes, then stopped.
All in all a really nice place to stay, but could run a bit better. Seemed to host a lot of weddings in summer which sort of limited your access to restaurant and bar due to private events on weekend, but made for a fun crowd.
I forgot, wireless was on but i am not sure the internet ever worked.

The location is stunning. The management and security services are horrific. A member of our group suffered a significant theft during our stay along with an assault on personal property (a $500k car was entered, jumped on, etc). The management lied to them regarding security camera footage, refused to provide them a copy of an incident report that the guest signed (stating that the report had been transmitted to the Park City police for their investigation, but communications with the Park City police indicated that no such report was ever provided), the manager on duty refused to contact the general manager (providing only his assistant's phone number) or head of security. Lies, cover-ups, and an absolute lack of concern over significant loss. There was not a single offer or overture to attempt to alleviate the stress of the loss and the amount of time spent interacting with the police or "management".

The hotel is located amidst an exclusive neighborhood. Staff members shared that they are under specific instructions to do "anything" to protect the residents of the neighborhood even at the expense of the guests. Be careful. Be cautious. Do not keep any valuables anywhere on the property.

( side note, and perhaps minor given what else happened to us during this stay, check your bill. We were charged for maid service gratuities and bellman gratuities despite independent tipping-- the hotel refused to remove these charges)

Dear Leah Z,
We regret that you feel this incident with another guest was not handled properly. We have reviewed the communications and actions taken by our staff, and we feel the situation was managed to the best of our ability.
We assisted the police by providing statements and security camera footage. We understand the police informed the guest that their options were limited as no damage was done to the vehicle, the doors had been left unlocked, the hotel had never taken possession of the vehicle as it was self-parked, and that there was no proof of money or belongings having been in the car.
With regard to your concern with gratuities; the group under which you booked had porterage and housekeeping gratuities included in the contract for each room. The group organizers were aware of this. We are sorry that this communication did not make it to you by the group organizers.
We invite you to reach out directly with any further concerns, questions, or comments. Thank you.

This is a rustic, wonderfully hidden oasis in the hills of Deer Valley. This 5 star lodge has everything you need to unwind from the hustle n bustle of business life. Staff are super friendly, cuisine is contemporary, and delicious, service cannot be beat.

Although the floor plan can be somewhat confusing initially, give it two days and you will appreciate its charm, including the navigation throughout the resort as well as the unique and most uncommon funicular, particularly in the US.

Hallways, common areas, and room were spotless. Suggest the mountain view (saw Moose) with a balcony to star gaze at night. Main Street is no more than 3 minutes by car and a must see with galleries and small shops.

Only negative is that the bath towels were not plush as a St. Regis should be.

Room Tip: get a suite and mountain view
