The motel may be old, but it has charm and is authentic. Much better than the same copy of modern motel chains.
In addition, it was perfectly clean and cheap compared to the other motel rates in the area. Finally, the hostess was very pleasant, friendly and helpful. A very good place to stay.

One of the cheaper places in Panguitch to Stay. This Motel is very very basic but does offer some room configurations that you can't get at other motels. Ask for the "Sportsman" "Outdoorsman" options where there are multiple bedrooms offered.

Room tip: Book early, fills up fast because it's right at the edge of town

Sometimes writing reviews can be difficult because a lot of things depend on factors like personal taste, expectations, budget etc.

We booked for two nights attracted by the budget friendly prices yet proximity to Red and Bryce Canyons.

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely lady, who was so helpful in resolving an issue caused by the website we had booked through and made a potentially stressful situation a breeze.

The buildings are a little old and some decorating needs a lick of paint. But the room was spacious, cool, clean, tidy with a super comfortable bed, coffee facilities, and a decent shower. In addition to a previous review. The bed sheet moved in the night and the mattress was spotless, totally spotless.

The bathroom was also very clean and roomy. The shower was powerful and hot!

The WiFi worked well, free car parking and locally there are several restaurants. The Big Fish is particularly good. As for the menu folder for other suggestions.

I strongly recommend Knights Inn for customer service, location, being budget friendly and value for money

Booked and paid for 2 nights only stayed for 1. Fisrt words put of my wife mouth is I am no longer alowed to book our accommodations. I cannot find 1 positive thing to say about the room and I can usuay find something postive. Stay here as a last resort.

Dear Greg,

We're sorry your stay with us was not acceptable to you or your wife. I know you guys were expecting a more luxurious room and the last thing we wanted was for you to feel uncomfortable during your time with us.

We did provide you with a full refund for your second night (upon your request), and we did apologize that our rooms were not up to your standards and expectations. We are a budget hotel and we know that it's not always going to satisfy everyone, but are always trying to improve our rooms and our customer service.

You and your Wife were more than pleasant to have and we hope you had a great drive after leaving us. We greatly appreciate your feedback.

This is the worst Knights Inn we have stayed in. Room very basic. No breakfast which we knew about but no fridge or microwave available either. When I asked the receptionist if there is any microwave I could use anywhere in the hotel, she told me to 'go and look for one at nearby gas stations'!!! Completely unwilling to help. The coffee maker in the room still had a used coffee sachet in it left by the guests before us! In general the receptionists are unhelpful and should not be in customer service business at all.

Dear Wioletta S.,

We apologize that your stay with us was less than satisfactory. We always strive to provide the best customer service possible and understand your frustrations regarding the lack of microwave and refrigerator in your room.

As we mentioned to you when you inquired about both amenities, only some of our rooms have a microwave and refrigerator in them. We do not move them from room to room as they are set in specific rooms based off of the room/reservation type. Additionally, all of our rooms that did have those amenities in them were occupied, or we would have been more than happy to upgrade you to a better room at no additional cost, which we also mentioned at the time of your stay.

Regarding the suggestion to use the gas station microwave; You asked if there was anywhere else you could go to warm up your food and we suggested the Silver Eagle gas station located directly across the street from us, less than a two minute walk away. We also told you that had you actually requested both amenities when you made your reservation we would have been more than happy to provide a partial refund if it was a mistake on our end. However, as I showed you on the physical copy of your reservation, you did not request/specify either option when booking your room.

As for the coffee maker, that was a legitimate mistake by our maid and we did take appropriate action regarding that incident. We sincerely apologize about that. If I remember correctly, we did provide you with a new, clean, unit and fresh coffee supplies, to which you seemed more than content to accept.

To reiterate, we do apologize that your stay with us was not satisfactory, and we own up to our actual mistakes, but we feel we did everything we could (short of giving you a full refund and relocating you to another hotel) to provide you with a comfortable stay. I'm sorry it did not turn out that way.

As always we appreciate your feedback and we hope your future stay at any Wyndham hotel is a pleasant one. We hope you have a great evening and a happy new year
